I think it should stay as is. It is no ones business what your personal life entails. Nor does it need to be flaunted. Men don't shower with women and gay men shouldn't shower with straight men. So why stir it up. What does it prove?

Gay have been serving in the military with distinction and honor for years and years. However, under DADT, unit cohesion is endangered because some members of the military are forced to keep their lives a secret for no good reason. Many of the worlds great militaries have openly gay and lesbian service members without issues, and there's no reason why some members of the military, who are willing to die for the freedoms of all of us, shouldn't be allowed those same freedoms themselves. Having been a gay military service member of the US Army, and knowing many more gay and lesbian service members, both still on active duty or now honorably discharged (and one unfortunate dishonorable discharge under this disgusting policy), DADT does much more harm than good for our military readiness, our unit cohesion, and the security of our country against foreign and domestic invaders and terrorists.
