Republicans push through Immigration reform. Here they do
need to look at #43's views & effort.

One thing is contradicting about this while doing this they advocated through the Chambers of Commerce to relocate jobs to overseas countries.

While leaning demo. and not looking favorably on
#43's term. I did support his understanding and
views concerning some border politics. This was
a Southwest border President and knew hardliner
views on the subject doesn't get the job done.

So everybody spends their childrens milk money on Indian gaming? What a CRock Of S#!T.
Just a power hungry man that wants to rule with the iron fist and tell people how to live and how to spend their money while they normally can drive or fly elsewhere and spend their money there.
John Cornyn is an Idiot full of caca.

Another republican that doesn't get it and needs to find a real job. The thing about immigration that needs fixing is the enforcement that's not being done. We want the border secured and this anchor baby loophole closed. Guest workers who are screened and vetted are fine unless they're also using the program to come here and pop one baby after another for a path to citizenship. Guest are suppose to eventually go home.

Balony, you have to look at the big picture, and tell that to the people of Nevada.

NV has a large amount of unemployment and people dependent on the system to pay for them through the welfare system. You can't honestly say that some people wouldn't lose their shirts due to recklessness of gambling, and become even more dependent on that system. I don't want to keep placing the government in debt, aka the taxpayers, because people made poor decisions at the tables. Do you?

I've lived in Nevada, Mississippi, and other states with heavy gambling, and I have seen the welfare abuse. You might have self control, but others don't when they walk into the bright shiny casino that favors the house to win.

Regardless, its up to the state legislatures, but Texas is doing far better then Nevada in every step of the way.

Cronin displays good common sense in the interview. Something seldom seen in Democrats.

I hope John Cornyn understands that the American people do not want any type of amnesty. The USA has given amnesty three prior times and nothing changes. I am all for what he is saying in regards to keeping our borders protected and our hiring practices in regards to illegals but at the same time he doesn't say if he supports amnesty or not. The American people won't support any politicians that support amnnesty.

Bird, I don't understand your statement. Cornyn has stood up for border security time and time again. While I admit i don't know everything in Wyoming, but our Senator's in Texas care about the border and do something about it through legislation.

Maybe you should watch Cornyn's interview on Fox News discussing his last border security amendment.

Besides all the double talk, all this from a man that has never had one of his bills ever approved. He has never done anything other than collect a paycheck and vote the way he is told. He is a do nothing politician that fits nicely into the Texas Republican scheme of things.

You obviuosly did not understand what you read when you looked into this website. I checked it I read it and understood it. There is nothing in it states racism. Read it again. Tell me where in this website showed/stated racism. Because I read nothing stating racism. However, please enlighten me.

On this question.....Q: You supported the Dream Act in a judiciary committee but then you voted against it. One of the reasons you gave for voting against it was that it would have allowed people with criminal records to apply for benefits. If that portion was changed and specific language was added that said that was not allowed would you vote for it?
Sen. Cornyn is a Master BSer...They have the system to check who is a criminal and who's not...Students are not criminals and they want to become productive in our country, and good citizens.
The real reason to block the Dream Act, is because most students and especially Latino students tend to be Democrat, so when election come, students would not vote Republican..
