Something is not right about this womans story.

She did an interview with Greta Van Sustren and during the interview she was asked if the pirates ever said anything to her and she said no, They weren't close enough but later in the interview she said they were pointing guns at her as she was pleading for her life.

So which is it?

Did they get close or not?

Interesting that she wants to be on TV about this but has not officially reported the incident to the Mexican authorities who have legal jurisdiction where the crimes reportedly occurred. If I were in her shoes, and was telling the truth, I would be working with the Mexican law enforcement officers in trying to resolve this rather than being on television and condemning their actions. Failing to report a murder in America to law enforcement can have serious consequences and it probably does in Mexico also. If she is telling the truth, she needs to properly report this to the Mexican authorities, in person, and assist them in any way possible in investigating this matter. If she can't do that, she needs to go away and forget about this instead of trying to enrage people at others over her poor judgement.

I'm soooooo sure the Mexican Government is telling the truth.
Not.
Why is it so hard to believe this lady pleaded for her life? Maybe she made a praying stance? Who knows.......where's the body? Where's the jet ski?
This isn't the first time this kind of thing has happened.
How to the OFFICIALS know this happened on the Mexican side? Is there a line in the water?

This hasn't just started.......look and see:

How do YOU know this happened on the Mexican side? Because of the news?
You trust the Mexican authorities over American authorities? That is hilarious.
See other problems at this same lake....this didn't just start with this incident.

She stated it was on the Mexican side, which is very well marked. She also stated that she was chased back into American waters by someone. Only Mexico has legal jurisdiction on that side of the lake. America has no legal jurisdiction on the Mexican side of the lake. Subsequently, most Americans heed the warnings and stay out of the Mexican side of the lake. She has now properly reported the incident to the Mexican authorities many days after the reported day of occurrence, which could greatly hamper the investigation since evidence my now be gone. She needs to assist the Mexican investigators, not hamper them. They are the only ones that can legally help her and her husband now. It would be wise for her not to alienate them.
