We are suppose to be a land of laws, and this doesn't make ICE any different. I am from El Paso and what erks me is how unfair the Agents are in El Paso. These are the same Latinos we grew up with in school and now they act white. ICE looks at Latinos and profiles us, but when Whites cross our borders they say nothing. Immigration needs to get their act together and the President needs to make sure it happens. Many of the men and women I served with in the Military are born else where but legally got their citizenship. Is this anyway to treat the people that wear the uniform and took an oath to protect America? The country they adopted as their own and swore to defend it? Come on America, wake up and stop being racist.

We have between 12 and 38 million illegal aliens in this country. There have been hundreds of thousands of these illegals deported since 2000. So if 55 is the number of mistakes made by ICE, what are they complaining about, that seems like a pretty low number to me. But then again, we're dealing with people that seem to think that our borders are a gate to enter our country anytime they want, not a sovereign delineation.
Just try to go to Mexico illegally and see what happens to you. We need to adopt Mexico's immigration laws. |

David, you are obviously an ignorant racist! I would like too know how white acts? How do you act? Like a typical JUARENO estupid! You say you served in the military does this mean you acted white? Or did you make your own rules and that made you better then everyone else? The ICE agents have a job to do and they have to stand together, if you are proud of where you live support the forces we have in this country which are designed for protection of this country. If you are not proud of where you live get the HELL OUT OF HERE YOU WHINY ASSED WHITE HATER!!! |

LadyM,(as in Mensa), you're twisting the issue. Understand what you read. For instance-"The American judicial system deems everyone innocent until proven guilty and guarantees a fair hearing with a lawyer --but not when it comes to immigration. " and "He's a U.S. citizen! He shouldn't be here! She was right." Finally, "The Associated Press has documented more than 55 such cases since 2000, and immigration lawyers count HUNDREDS MORE." |

I'd just like for Hispanics to stop playing the victim, and to stop trying to erroneously use the race card.
There is no racism between anglos and hispanics. There are three RACE categories: Caucausian African Asian Hispanic and Anglo both fall under Caucasian, therefore, "racism" is the wrong term. If anything, anglos are PREJUDICE against hispanics, and vice versa, not racist. Educate yourselves before throwing these terms around. |

You should have stopped there. It was the only thing you said that made sense and wasn't bigoted. If those coming here illegally realized the truth of that statement we would not be having the illegal immigration discussions. |

Hell, if our own citizens realized the truth of that statement we wouldn't have the immigration issue. They'd pick up a phone and do their civic duty, turning their illegal neighbors in rather than turn their heads to the matter. The damned civil rights lawyers are the worst. They actually fight for people who are willingly and knowingly breaking the law. Our biggest problem is that we, as a nation, allow non-citizens to have the same rights as citizens. In that case, what the fing good is it to be a citizen?? |
