City urged EPA to extend deadline for AEP
Ashland officials are asking the Environmental Protection Agency to extend the deadline for compliance with regulations affecting coal-fired power plants because of the possible impact of that deadline on the Kentucky Power Company.

They really need to, not only does this affect the coal plants it affects the train yards, the company caterpillar. It will put coal miners out as well. This affects more than just aep.
