It was suspected that the virus attack on Iran was inspired or assisted by the US. The Stuxnet virus wasn't a helpful precedent, although it may have deferred the time when Iran has a nuclear weapon.
Perhaps the USA has the most to lose from cyber warfare, but all mankind will suffer should it become seriously uncontrollable.
The Internet has been a wonderful help towards international understanding and world peace. The fact that people can talk to each other in a medium like this helps. It made the Arab Spring possible and as an older person, I am delighted at the access I now have to news. I have also communicated with people from East to West.
It would be a tragedy if the Internet itself were impaired by 'cyber warfare'. Limiting it or sensoring it, as China does, is quite bad and dangerous enough.
