This wouldn't happen IF we made a set amount politicians could spend on their campaigns. But of course the politicians will never approve such a thing! It might be time to think about trimming the sails on the dem and rep parties too. They also need limits set on how much they can have in their coffers. We might be able to get some decent lawmakers in if we didn't have so much "good ole boy" in our politicians. Make it a crime for anyone to try to influence the decisions of the FDA.
