This study should have separated insurance companies from health care professionals. There is a HUGE difference between the executives who run Health Insurance companies and Health CARE companies.

"The Center for Responsive Politics, which hosts the statistics defines health professionals as consisting primarily of doctors, though their ranks could also include nurses or other people working in a professional capacity in the health sector."

Does an insurance agent even count as "professional capacity in the health sector" ???

Most doctors and nurses agree with Democratic Policy and even many major Hospitals have backed up the Health Care Reform Issue.

They fully understand the importance of it because they live it every day.

I voted for a judge then he let a killer go free,
I voted for a state rep then he voted for mandatory dna testing by police without warrant or probable cause,.just because you thought you knew what you were doing in supporting a candidate doesn't mean you could be certain what that candidate would do in knee jerk mode.I have regreted my support for many candidates.I am certain many others share this same fate

The article misses the point -- the Republican Party considers this issue the “Holy Grail” to restore their credibility with the American people and an opportunity to return congress to Republican control. It is a reenactment of the same scenario when Clinton failed in his health care reform.

That is why not one Republican is on board and none has offered a viable compromise other than Snowe. Democrats have also pandered to big business on this most important issue facing America today with concessions. A FACT -- there are 6 lobbyists for every congressman trying to stop health care reform -- do you believe they are whispering in their ear what will benefit all Americans in this broken system which they profit or are they offering their children a scholarship to the college of their choice etc. etc.

All lobbyists should be made illegal -- they corrupt the system and infect the greedy politicians Americans elect to represent our best interests -- last I checked corporations do not have a vote.
