Bush Veto of Child Health Bill Sustained

There are 2 comments on the Town Hall story from Oct 19, 2007, titled Bush Veto of Child Health Bill Sustained. In it, Town Hall reports that:

“As long as the bottom line is that 10 million children are covered. That's non-negotiable”

The Democratic-controlled House failed on Thursday to override President Bush's veto of a politically popular children's health bill, and the White House instantly called for compromise talks on a replacement. via Town Hall

I thoroughly enjoy his program. It would be a great replacement for "Bush Fiasco" which has become the worst series in rerun on the tube.

Once again the Republicans put party above people. Kids no less. How could we expect any more from them. Bush and his mouth pieces had yo mischaracterize the SCHIP program as a program for poor children. Infact it was designed to give help to working people who could not afford to pay health care premiums after paying for insurance for the Bush and Cheney families.
