I would very much like to see anybody who opposes the Violence against Women Act come by and visit Beacon House: a day program for brain injury survivors located on Virginia Beach Blvd. in VA Beach, VA!!

This shouldn't be a federal issue. This should be a state issue. If citizens want such a program, let the people of the state fund it themselves. We have to cut this reliance on federal government. We can't afford it any longer.

Wow, I am gone for a few days and I am thinking, "The Wingnuts will all be more informed and transformed when I check on the threads again, because their information level has most surely bottomed out and they can only get smarter."
Well I was wrong! There is no bottom to your willful, blatant ignorance and inability to see the big picture.

The only ignorant people we have are those who don't understand the word "broke." Broke means no money. Broke likely means debt. Broke means failure.

You on the left want money for this and money for that, but dare somebody suggest we quit funding useless projects like PBS, NPR and the arts, you have a heart attack. You won't pluck one feather off of big bird for projects you care about. Just keep on spending and don't worry about nearing Greece.
