WASHINGTON -- Gasoline prices should peak at $4.15 a gallon this summer, the government says -- finally an encouraging word for motorists who might be thinking the cost of a fill-up will just keep climbing.

But then a worker in a refinery in Pigsknuckle Texas sneezed, causing an immediate increase of 25 cents per gallon over fears that winter fuel production quotas won't be met when he calls in sick.

BTW - I sent Obama money for his campain. I own oil company stock. Looks like 'big oil' is in his pocket too.........

this is highly wrong for our govt to allow us americans go empty handed we work very hard to support our families and money is taken away from us for social services,on called for taxes, raising cost of food, clothing, entertainment, now the gas someone is making alot of money off of the consumer and nothing in return I think a another economic stimulus rebate should be in order immediately so that many companys and families do not lose what they work hard for the rebate should be in a form of a credit card strictly for gas so that it is monitored. we need help now! and the americans need to agree on this immediately.please address this to the american people for some comfort and releive

shame on you.. i only work to support those on welfare and to put money into the oil company big wigs pockets...at $1600 per month to fill my oil tank ( and rising) and $350 per week for fuel.. who cares if my family starves... they can always eat the dog

Why can' the politicians get together, andgive the forign countries that are supplying the gas, and oil. Since we basically rebuilding their cities, and educating them. We also allowing them to come to our country. We allow them to purchase our real estate. They should in return give us the fuel for almost for free.We taught most how toget along with their neighbors, but they have been fighting all their lives.When it comes to reducing the gas , to reduce the tax. Why not reducing it at least$200, or $3.00?We have cut our driving down to two days a week. If any of us can't afford it anymore. Then we will revert to the old way in doing things.I'll get a wood stove, and cook on the wood stove.We will be staying home alot, and we will give up our vehice.If this get any worse, then the United States realy be in trouble.So to all politicians get a handle on the rising of oil,gas, and property taxes.

I'm preparing to buy a bike, and eventually I'm going to give up my vihicle. If many people from the United States reverts back to their grandfathers' day. Then all countries will be in trouble.We should boycot oil, and gas. When all as a group boycotting gas, and oil, til both go down at least half o the price as it is now.As of now there have been more crime, and it is going to get worse. There will be more empty houses, homeless people, and more crimes. The american dream has become a nightmare.
