US Muslim: I was tortured at FBI's behest in UAE

A Muslim American seeking asylum in Sweden claimed Wednesday he was detained at the U.S. government's request while in the United Arab Emirates last summer, tortured in custody and interrogated about the activities of a Portland, Oregon, mosque.

So some day when they come knocking on your door or you are taken into custody in a foreign country beaten and tortured because you won't comply with the information they are seeking, will you feel the same way. He was an American Citizen and his rights were violated by The Government using a third party to do their dirty work. This threatens your rights as a Citizen and you should be outraged rather then complient for some false sense of Security.

The operative term is "naturalized". In my opinion, as one pledges an oath to gain citizenship, one loses the rights of citizenship if he/she takes treasonous, or traitorous action against the U.S. You may have a U.S. born citizen, a la al-Awlaki.

A naturalized citizen has all the same rights as an American born Citizen except to run for President. His only crime seems to be that he attended the same Mosque as certain other persons who carried out or planned to carry out terrorist acts. That is quilt by association and as far as I know that is not a Crime unless you conspired with those said individuals or had knowledge of those actions. After all, they didn't have any evidence of a criminal act and were actually seeking a mole to feed them information. Some people choose not to be involved with a government which has proved itsself to be no friend of Muslims. Totally Understandable!

And what "proof is there besides the fact he said it happen? How about this thing called evidence. but I guess those who hate the USA dont ever need proof.
