The delegates from Maryland are still lying."The Department of Defense really thought this through" are you kidding me? This is the biggest bunch of crap Ive heard in years. They thought nothing through and the $1.5 billion number is bogus as well because it came from the Pentagon. When alls said and done it will cost $2.5 billion and $16 billion for Maryland infrastructure brings the tab to just shy of $20 billion. When the true cost of the war is announced we'll see how ready the country is to pay for all this

The fact that the GAO report disagree's with DoD's savings estimation (overestimated by 239 million annually) and that the Armed Forces Committee has agreed to hold hearings, indicate there is a clear concern about the costs and disruption of support to the soldier.

Maryland politicians are clueless when it comes to technology. They do not understand the risk to our soldiers when networks are disrupted just to bring jobs to the state. This is a very dangerous situation and our military personnel must be put ahead of transferring jobs from one location to another with the risk that years of experience will be lost.
