Reminds me of the left-wing Killer Ted Kaczinski. Better know as the Uni-bomber. Wouldn't surprise me at all if another left-wing killer is plotting again.

Someone angry at taxpayer funded expensive and useless road signs? Sounds a bit more right wing philosophy than left wing, but a nice twist of opinion none the less.

"One of the parcels was addressed to Gov. Martin O'Malley, who said the mailing meant for him complained about highway signs that urge motorists to report suspicious activity."

I find that rather amusing in a strange sort of way. The person who sent these explosive mails was protesting the request by the Government to the citizens to report suspicion activity. So the perp decides to break the law with illegal activity in order to protest. Does anyone else see the irony?

I hope this creep gets caught. I hope someone reports him, now that would be poetic justice.

And no, I don't believe this is politically motivated. Just a nut-job.

The package contained a message about the state's "terrorism tip line," which is widely shown on overhead highway signs that read, "Report Suspicious Activity" and give an 800 number.

If the note is real, it's almost a joke on the Terrorism Tip Line. I would bet there's more to the story that's Not Being Told.

Maybe the arsonist/perp was offended that his/her "people" aka "terrorists" were being singled out and discriminated against by the Government's encouraging the rest of us law-abiding sorts (traffic violations such as speeding excluded, of course...lol) and requesting that "we" report "them" if we see anything suspicious.

There probably is more to the story, but I still figure it's some nut-job and his/her version of events, once arrested, tried and convicted, will not give the rest of us any insight as to the "why?" in order to prevent other such nut-jobs from responding in the same way.

One package was sent to Home Land Security Office in DC on Friday. Same effects as the other 2 sent to MD.
Thursday night Dullas Air Port which is 20 minutes from DC was shut down for hours and later reopened. No explination as to why.

Northern VA is like little Middle East and Iran.

MD, PA and NY all have these signs on their Hyways. They were installed after the terror threat on Both tunnels in Baltimore and NY/NJ 7 years ago. Why wait till now to protest.
The note in the package said This is fulling a prophecy. What ever that means
