If the area along the Arkansas is being considered for wilderness consideration then how will this affect recreational prospecting, gold panning, sluicing, high banking and dredging? I belong to the Gold Prospectors of Colorado Springs which is a recreational gold prospecting club that now has three claims along this stretch of the river. We believe that wilderness declaration might limit or end recreational gold prospecting activities and if this is true our 600 member club would be opposed to this designation.
