So I assume the costs will be passed on to the customer, which in turn will drive down attendence. Will this also limit the number of employees. Where is the benifit.

Fast food places make min-wage and plus. Look at all the atmosphere you pay for in restaurants that pay less than min wage and make it up with tips. Plus the tips are often shared between non-tipped employees. Yes atmosphere is often a one-time expense but there are the added extra bills and such that go along long term with this. Therefore, maybe before making a decision, I would like to see a bit more study into costs. Especially with the nicer chain restaurants like Cheesecake Factory and what are their costs for corporate expenses as opposed to your independant places that are not parts of chains at all.
