Sit back ... relax ... Stevens was up 3000 and now down 800 .... Alaska has many remote regions ... This is going to take a while ... with the vote count so close ... it is sure to take a recount when the votes are tallied ... We probably won't know until 2009

Unbelieveable that this crook got the votes that he did. This is why we function as we do as a country. We should get rid of those crooks and get on with the job that they were voted in for - or if they're not doing their jobs, good riddance. Goes to show you the caliber of ppl in Alaska.

It appears voters in Alaska are every bit as ignorant and blindly loyal to lying, unscrupulous, criminal politicians as those in Washington D.C. (Marion Barry), Detroit (Kwame Kilpatrick), Chicago (Mayor Daley - father AND son) and Louisiana (Huey Long and William Jefferson).

Philip J. Berg, Esquire, the Pennsylvania attorney who filed a lawsuit suit against Barack H. Obama, challenging Senator Obama’s lack of “qualifications” to serve as President of the United States, filed a Writ of Certiorari in the United States Supreme Court. Berg is taking legal action in order to view President-Elect Barack Obama's birth certificate and other similar documents.

Surprisingly, no one has seen Obama's birth records and any effort to view them has been thwarted by his campaign and the so-called mainstream news media.

Berg's writ requests review of the United States District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Judge Surrick’s dismissal of Philip J. Berg’s lawsuit against Barack H. Obama, Jr., the Democrat National Committee and the other co-Defendants.

According to court documents, the US Supreme Court has set dates in which Barack Obama, the DNC and all co-Defendants are to respond to the Writ, which is on or before December 1, 2008.

I feel the same way. I'm still scratching my head over how roughly half of the voters gave him their votes even after one week of having been essentially a convict. Well, maybe it's something in the Moose-chilli the Embarracuda talks so much about that makes some people in Alaska into idiots.
