$35Million? Well, how many of our nations highways would that money repair? See, we're just so off kilter in this country. The elections cost too much as we waste too much money on stuff that just doesn't matter. We need this money to fix roads, health care, etc.

$35ml for B-S, that I can definitely do without and turn the channel, thank you remote control. Sounds like the Democratic Party way, again nothing tangible to help "Legal" Americans -- roads are in shambles, gas prices are off the top, raise taxes for Americans to help illegal aliens, cost of living has increased, and the list goes on... Hope you do your homework and think about it long and hard before you vote in November. I have a feeling there will not be a lot of posts to this forum! God Bless America!

They have got to do something to get better than 9 percent approval rating overall and only 14 percent from Dems.

Their jobs, and sworn oaths, are to uphold and defend the Constitution. Beyond, that simple statement, Big Government entitlement programs, give-aways and 15 year studies on Shrimp are all illegal, the Congress hasn't been doing their jobs for nearly 100 years.

35 million!! Thanks to my dvr I no longer watch commercials. But, I would like to mirror some of the previous posts, by saying that politicians should be embarassed with this information. 35 million could really be used for so many other things than a stinking t.v. commercial. Shame on them all! They have the audacity to whine about conserving energy while living in mansions using 5 times the energy that regular people use. Flying in private jets/airplanes, and whining about the price of gas? They are not affected by all of the "common" problems that we face. They don't stress about paying bills, they don't have a clue. Even if they ever once did, they have no clue now. It's ridiculous, it's as if they are royalty and we are looking up at them in the castle as they tell us how they will take care of the poor peasants. Stop taking all of our income taxes which help you live in luxury, that can be a start.

Correct!!!! But some have tried. It seems when they try the rest make up dirt on them and force them out. What I would give to have Regan back.

Apparently, our politicians do not understand that we don't need to see them on TV advertising but solving problems and helping us. That is why we put them in office!

Good Hard earned money down the toilet!

P.S. The statement about Obama & Coloniel was cruel. That's like me saying, "Voting for John Sidney McCain III is like having a burning yeast infection without cream. Constant irritation with no cure." So, let's not insult the parties.

It would be great if all campaigns were publicly financed and we had a MUCH shorter campaign period!

In the meantime, show me the money!

Payback is a *itch, Republicans!

Q: What's the problem with Barack Obama jokes?

A teacher in Elmira , New York asked her 6th grade class how many of them were Obama fans.

Not really knowing what an Obama fan is, but wanting to be liked by the teacher, all the kids raised their hands except for Little Franky Masterson

The teacher asked Little Franky why he has decided to be different.

Little Franky says,'Because I'm not an Obama fan.'

The teacher says,'Why aren't you an Obama fan?'

Franky says,'Because I'm a Republican.'

The teacher asks him why he's a Republican.

Little Franky answered,'Well, my mom's a Republican and my dad's a Republican, so I'm a Republican'

The teacher asks,'If your mom was a moron and your dad was an idiot, what would that make you?'

With a big smile, Little Franky replies,'That would make me an Obama fan .'
