Stolen Election in Alaska?

Nov 6, 2008 Full story: www.huffingtonpost.com 6
Four years ago, 313,592 out of 474,740 registered voters in Alaska participated in the election-a 66% turnout. Taking into account 49,000 outstanding ballots, on Tuesday 272,633 out of 495,731 registered Alaskans showed up at the polls; a turnout of 54.9%. That's a decrease of more than 11% in voter turnout even though passions ran high for and against Obama, as well as for and against Sarah Palin! Something stinks. Full Story

My god - give it a break.

You Hayscrap polls are skewed as heck and never correctly views the true electorate.

Why the bless than spectacular voting at polls - easy - by the time it was their turn, most the media was laying claim to the Presidency for Obama before the first election polls even closed.

I imagine that suppressed their voter turn out just a bit.

If you thought Alaska was going to even be close for Obama - you were dreaming.

As for the senate races and such - don't be surprised if the GOP holds them. I imagine there were those that voted to keep those seats since the Dems were already sweeping and did not want to contribute to it.

Plus regardless the Democratic based charges against Stevens, most up there see it as a political stunt during an election year. Stevens helped with bringing Alaska into statehood, he's been watching out for Alaska's interest - and even if he does eventually get found guilty of receiving about $250,000 in work on his house, there are many up in Alaska that are saying "So?". Considering his 40 years of service, that's a small reward for that in their eyes.

Look at the many Democrats that use loopholes to pocket millions of dollars in much shorter careers. Little too much on the hyprocritical these Dems in going after an elder statesman like Stevens.

Wow, look at this. Apparently the 2004 Alaska results were shaddy too. Diebold must be investigated.

Bad enough the Dems stole the 2008 elections through fraud and such, now they want to go back in time to cheat elections from 4 years ago?

They are scared that Stevens is going to win despite their attempt to smear him with a bogus ethics charge.

----------

The private contractor hired to provide Alaska's electronic voting machines is Diebold Election Systems. It has told Alaska officials it owns the "structure of the database" though the data itself is public.

State officials say the Democrats have it wrong.

"The issue is not about whether public information can be released, because the Division of Elections has already offered to provide the information requested by the (Alaska Democratic Party)," elections director Whitney Brewster said in a written statement. "The issue is that the (Democratic Party) is asking for a file format the state of Alaska uses but does not own."

You're a zombie idiot. That was a story from a few years ago as anyone can see. Loser. You're time is coming to an end in this country. After Diebold has been investigated it will be clear that the landslide victory should have been even greater. The country needs to boot you into third party status where you belong. Invesigate Diebold. Wait a few years and watch your dipsh*t ideology die amongst dwindling numbers of old folk. Get ready for irrelevance.

Even if Stevens actually wins the election the Senate will not seat him so the question then becomes who will Governor Palin pick to replace him, herself, Todd, or somebody from the Alaskan Independence Party? Sorry I forgot, Todd and Sara are from the Alaskan Independence Party.
