Interesting how Congressman Hastings finally wakes up to the Juniper Dunes issue. Various recreational groups have many times approached him for action. He's now up for election and has found the time to issue of letter of encouragement to the BLM to find a solution with a private property owner. Guess he's been too busy doing nothing while chairing the ethics committee until now. His working opponent Claude Oliver has been listening and discussing options with interest groups already. Let's give him a chance to work for us. The key is the September primary, a very pivotal vote.

we as taxpayers are far too hard on our elected "elite". we must understand there just isn't enough time in a day for them to accomplish all the things we ask of them. apon waking, they hardly have time to call their office to check on campaign contributions as brunch starts at eleven. time becomes even more of an issue afterwards because their special elevator is sometimes crowded when they head to their offices to check on campaign contributions knowing luncheon starts at one. their day becomes even more hectic and rushed afterwards while meeting with their special interest group with photo opps.,after casting a vote already paid for, nature calls, forcing them to do the difficult and time consuming paperwork they always complain about.with only ten or fifteen minutes left to contact their office to check on campaign contributions and arrange for a limo because happy hour starts at four we can see the toll this hard work has had on our elected "elite" we as taxpayers must do more to help ease this workload, we must pass a bill as soon as we can to provide someone to do the paperwork for them. isn't it time you as a taxpayer did more of the things our elected "elite" need to make the job they bought all those votes for easier?
