It seems that there is no accountability anymore.

White House Spokesman Tony Snow really nows how to give us all, ahem, a "Snow Job". Using his logic then all Clinton did was have relations with an unmarried legal age woman. So what was the harm there? At least she was not what Tony creatively calls, "a young man"

Unfortunately, there are few, if any, statesmen left in the U.S.A., or in any country, really. Everything is us against them at all costs.
Only when our governments work to help and unite their constituents through honesty and ethical conduct, instead of allowing partisen politicts to protect corruption, graft and sexual impropieties of elected members, will society improve. Being a Republican does not equate to being pure. That is a fallacy that needs to be addressed in your country.

we need to look into all members of the house and senates emails and clean house before anyone goes after
Mr. Hastert. You might not like what you find but no one over sees the conduct of our elected officals.

Hastert was told of the problem two years ago!! Apparently he didn't do anything about it then, protecting kids from pedophiles just isn't high on his priorities, I guess.
Shouldn't be a suprise from people that are arguing that they should be allowed to torture people.
What WON'T they do?!?!?!??!

Does anyone know when the Caucas for Missing and Exploited Children was founded (MAF was a co founder) and did anyone know Mark Foley's 'predilection' before the committee was founded?

I was a Foley fan and I am very dissapointed in his behavior. I am also wondering what is being done to support those who where prayed upon.

Why did the three pages come out after he resigned. I wonder if all is true or just some. Are we being distracted from something else.

Just a thought

debri: sad to say, but yes, we are being distracted from something else. the political atmosphere for some time now has been "keep them busy while I fill my pockets, then I'll do it for you." these people know whats been going on. Mark Foley's approaches to House male pages can only mean he considered he was in a gay bath house, not the house of congress. how these people get voted in the first time is not the question, year after year time after time is. how could kennedy still be in congress when he should still be in prison for the death of one of these pages in chapped dick? here in washington state, house speaker tom foley, before retiring voted himself a retirement of 150,000.00 yr. so he "could live the lifestyle he was accustomed to". what kind of lifestyle was this no good, eggsucker into that the taxpayers are paying for? politics should be reserved for the true patriots that care about our country and the people that live here not their own private lifestyles. a true politician would do the job for mininium wage, for the love of his country and his fellow man. right now I only see felons holding these posts of elected office
