Great column Paul Ryan, but aren't you doing the job the press is supposed to be doing?

Oh that’s right, the Pioneer Press endorsed Obama, now it all makes sense why they're playing the sidelines.

Finally, a little bipartisanship:

"Even one of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s floor whips, U.S. Rep. Stephen Lynch, says a proposed parliamentary move to pass health-care reform would be “disingenuous” and harm the credibility of Congress."

"It is absolutely astonishing that Speaker Pelosi would consider advancing a multitrillion-dollar piece of legislation that would completely overhaul one-sixth of our nation’s economy without even holding a vote in the House of Representatives,” said U.S. Sen. Scott Brown (R-Mass.), who vowed during his campaign in January to be the “41st vote” against President Obama’s push for health reform.

One of Rep. Paul Ryan's favorite talking points is the claim that Govt. doesn't create jobs.

I have a question for the Congressman.

If the govt doesn't create jobs, how are you supporting your family and paying your bills?

Meet America's Richest Counties
http://realestate.yahoo.com/promo/meet-americ...

"In recent decades northern Virginia has become an economic dynamo, driven by a private sector that feasts on government contracting. These counties are also home to corporate lobbyists, lawyers and consultants who work in or around the nation's capital, soaking up federal government spending. And government-related hiring manages to keep the unemployment rate in places like Falls Church City down to 5.7%....Nearby Loudoun County, Va., used to be a sleepy rural community just a few decades ago, but in recent years it has become a technology center and a popular Washington suburb. It is now the second-richest county in the nation with median annual household income of $112,021. Another Washington county, Fairfax County, Va., rounds out the top three with annual median household income of $104,259. Making the median high income in Fairfax County even more impressive is the fact that it has 1.1 million residents. This populous county has a massive federal government presence and is home to companies with strong connections to the government, like Freddie Mac, and intelligence agencies like the CIA and the National Counterterrorism Center."

The government does not create jobs.

It changes jobs from one sector to another and it does so with great inefficiency.

Paul Ryan = Sociopath.

This piece of dirt's idol is the sociopath Ayn Rand who was on SS and Medicare when she failed to provide for herself in her declining years as she said she would.

They are both liars and scumbags as is 100% of the GOP.

Right, so all of those people working for government are a figment of your imagination.

Since you hate government so much run for office in your little town and get rid of ALL government including your own office.

Go ahead...do it.

You can't refute my assertion so you resort to a 'straw man' argument. Try to stop being so stupid. It's tedious and wears on those around you.

PS: You can look up 'straw man' argument on a site called google.
