Unfortunly, true. Wish there was a party which supported compact Districts which followed county and/or township lines. Or better yet, some sort of natural boundaries.

Or maybe districts, which the representive could travel the boundaries in one day by highway, railroad, boat or on foot.

This is how the system is supposed to work. If you win you have power and part of that power is to set yourself up for future success. The majority of this state is Republican. The Democrats pull their votes from the cities. I would suggest that the Republicans lump as many inner city areas into a district as they can without hurting the rural areas. You are not going to win the cities so lets make them irrelevant.

True, the cities are most government union people on teet and minorities disproportionately, both dems strong suit.

The revolution is coming much sooner than most think! Sad that a once great nation is going to fall from the inside due to nothing more than greed by 2% of the population.
