Of course there is. Two daddys or two mommies ... and you find nothing missing? How blind can you possibly be?

Put off by our actions? No, they're put off by their own hatred and bigotry, and guess what, they hate trans people as much as they hate gay people. Being a Republican is no cure for that.
I see you do just what you accuse me of doing with the "name calling", so you're just another god-damned hypocrite.

Tom while I agree with you that not ALL LBG people are transphobic there is more of it going on in the LGB community then their should be since there should be none. I also feel that a huge amount of education needs to be done within the LBGT community on the differences between a transgender and a Transsexual. Transsexuals are the ones who follow the SOC and transition to have surgery feeling that their brains don't match their bodies, were as transgender would be you cders ,transvestites, and drag queens and your non ops. I also agree with you on this Donna Milo she's a duck quacking what she thinks the people of her district and her republican buds wanta hear who knows and those may also be her true feelings, but she's put her money on the wrong horse if she thinks the religious conservatives are going to accept her as one of their own just because she knows the words to the song their not. But I digress back to the point. Tom if you wish to find this transphobia in the LGB look no further then the lesbians they for most part are unaccepting of a MTF even if she's post op in some cases but are very accepting of a FTM regardless of how they see themselves or what they call themselves or even how far they've gone in transition. The person could have completed transition and be legally male but the lesbians will still be welcoming. Then there's gay men they have a huge problem understanding how someone who was born physical a man could ever chop off the organ that encompasses their whole identity.... they are threaten by this confusion and act out in anger spewing their hate. This lead me to believe that regardless of how opening and welcoming the LGB says it is to see that parts of it not all aren't that deep down their just as tied to what they were taught as are the straight right wing bigots in society that fight against the entire community. So the next time you meet someone who's gender doesn't match their birth sex ask a few questions find out if their following the SOC. See if their under a doctors care for their hormones or if their seeing a counselor these questions will quickly allow you to known who your talking to a Transsexual or a transgender.

Please don't stereotype all gay people as anti transexual.

Im not saying that they are anti transsexual I'm saying that at least the leaders and many of the the gay community are willing to throw away transsexuals at the slightest sign that we might be a hindrance without trying to go forward with us. However we are expected to fight for your rights (which i do because i do believe its the right thing to do) without question. How do you think the gay community would come out if the more vocal and leading trans people had a marriage bill to get the right to marriage to include LGBT but when it seemed like the LGB were going to be a hindrance we threw you out without trying. It would hurt. Well that's what happened last enda and that is what will probably happen this one.

Transexuals are expendable if it means getting your rights. I wouldn't have a problem if we tried to get it passed with the T included and it failed so we just got it passed with the LGB but were not even given that cutesy.

Oh and not to mention the gay people who want us removed from the LGB all together because they dont see us as part of you. I Know not all gay people are like that. Hell i love my gay friends and again i fight for your rights. But it hurts when actions show that we are so expendable to those who we support.

I don't care what you believe. I live this. I spend more hours a month trying to save those transsexuals who want to kill themselves from suicide then i did at work last year. If GRS is the only way to save them from that then i support it 100% the other countless number of things they have tried has failed.
How do you suggest we Cure this "Mental Illness" Electro shock therapy. Failed. Deep electro shock therapy, Erased the persons memories but not the fact that they were trans so failed. Lobotomy, Failed. Behavioral therapy Failed, Medications have all failed some increasing the suicide rate by quite a bit like testosterone therapy for MTFs. Everything has failed. except GRS.
So ms i know more than those who live it? What is the cure God? Yeh that one failed too oh wait right praying to him for 20 years to cure me wasn't long enough. So tell me what is this cure to this "Mental" Condition?
I couldn't agree more! You've nailed it! There is no other cure!
Just because some find it icky has no bearing on it's effectiveness.

And leaving them in an orphanage deprives the children of a loving family.
I don't think you'll find many orphanages around today. Today it's "Foster" kids in "Foster" homes where in far too many cases , they are abused mercilessly. Many, many kids in these circumstances would be far better off in a gentle Gay atmosphere.
At least they would probably not face the violence and the sexual abuse. Plus the educational levels are much higher among gays is much higher. The "downside" of Gay adoption is that they would become rather sympathetic to gays in general. They couldn't be indoctrinated against them so easily. This acceptance of sexual minorities what the Lisas of the world really fear.

Matt. 19:12 is one such passage. Go read it! This is the new Testament, which is Jesus himself speaking, Not the "Jewish" Old Testament. Furthermore, in Mark 9:47, we hear Jesus say "If thy hand offendeth thee, cut it off!" Even the Iranian Govt does not forbid SRS (Sex Reassignment Surgery) In fact, In a fatwa, Ayatollah Khomeini declared Transexuals to be made by God and man should not stand in their way. However, They hang Gays. Think of all the procedures that performed on the body and tell me which ones are acceptable and which ones are not, and why. LOL

Do you think any one with a birth defect or another medical issue should be denied treatment because it is immoral to mutilate the body. If you claim that GRS is body mutilation then anything that changes the way we were born or how are body works is immoral. So that mean heart surgery, appendectomies, Surgeries to remove cancer, Teeth pulling, Fixing of birth defects such as cleft palate and others. Hip and knee surgeries are all immoral.
You cannot claim one is immoral while the other isn't. Also if you want to go biblical There is nothing in the bible that condemns such treatment. Also biblicaly it was acceptable to castrate males. Which is basically what GRS is. In essence Transsexuals are eunuchs which the bible not only finds acceptable but the bible celebrates.

Despite all the definition parsing going on here, this really represents only one thing, the power of a particular and peculiar political philosophy to triumph over a person's self interest. The only thing new here is that person happens to be trans.

And yet you seem to find it a better solution then fixing he problem with the only known cure.
I wasn't aware that Liza had a cure, only that she believes that the current cure that works, and is 99% effective, is immoral and transsexuals should be denied the treatment.

So your saying that trans people should not have rights because you perceive those rights and infringing on your own? Or that the doctors who have proven and studied transexualism since the early 1900's and tried everything to fix it without GRS but failed and now accept GRS are wrong. Or do you believe like massressistance that the only legitimate doctors out there are the small group who do not believe in transsexualism?

She doesnt. However she seems to support suicide over GRS.
