WH: No Need To Halt All Foreclosures
A top White House adviser questioned the need Sunday for a blanket stoppage of all home foreclosures, even as pressure grows on the Obama administration to do something about mounting evidence that banks have used inaccurate documents to evict homeowners.

It is about time a dem had the gumption to say the right thing rather than pander. Politicians are better off worrying about the clear majority of owners doing the right thing and paying their debt. There are some people who certainly need help but freezing foreclosures is the absolute worse event that can happen in this fragile economy. You are sending a message that is contrary to the American way. Yes, there are paper work screw ups but how many have not paid any mortgage or HOA/CONDO fees for the past few years sapping
the strength from the paying owners and causing further price depreciation causing another spiral downwards. It is simple to understand why others will just throw up their hands and follow suit.
