If the Democrats were still in control of the House and were not in danger of loosing the Senate next year they would sweep this mess under the rug. They only care about ethics when it's going to affect their party at the ballot box.

This means nothing. They "investigated" Rangel as well and he's still in office. New York would elect Tim McVeigh if he were a Democrat and on the ballot.

Ohio can ram through SB5 against the wishes of the people, and they can sneakily insert anti-abortion provisions into a budget against the wishes of the people, but if somebody exposes his "Weiner", he gets investigated?

W. Bush can lie us into two wars and de-regulate the financial sector to the extent that the whole economy crashes, but when people begged Nancy Pelosi to impeach Bush and Cheney, she refused. But if somebody exposes his "Weiner", she "investigates".

"...Pelosi and Democratic chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz think either that members of Congress are held to a different standard, or that the congressman's actions demand his departure from the House."

No, Pelosi and Wasserman do not think that all members of Congress are held to a different standard; only the Democrats.

Anthony Weiner’s communications with a 17 year-old girl from New Castle, Delware is under investigation, according to Fox News. The police went to the home of this teen to question her about direct online communications with Weiner.

This could put a big political roadblock in Weiners way, not to mention the possibilities of any criminal charges if texts were of sexual nature with this girl. The name of this girl is being held back because she is a minor, the police questioned this girl with her mother at home.

The young girl is a fan of Weiner’s politics after seeing him speak on a school trip to Washington on April 1. She signed up to follow his Twitter page, but then Weiner signed up to follow her and directly messaged the teen on April 13th. It is not clear how many direct messages went on between Weiner and the girl between or after those dates. The content of these messages are not known.

Nice try Tony.

The fact is that the age of consent in Delaware is 18. It is, however, legal for teenagers aged 16 and 17 to engage in sexual intercourse as long as the older partner is younger than 30.
