Only a moron would think this is anything but a desperate deflection from the left to take the heat off Obama for his idiot shovel remark. Talk about being out of touch...it was his gigantic failed program, you'd think he'd have enough sense not to joke about something the majority of the country didn't want and is quite ticked off about happening.
What did Americans' expect? The communist kenyan fraud's only legislation in the Illinois Senate was enacting "Islamic Appreciation Day".

Aside of course from legislating millions in corrupt payoffs to his cronies, including Valerie Jarrett.

Joking about being unemployed is not what makes Romney out of touch with the American people. What makes Romney and other Republicans out of touch is that they want to cut benefits to the poor and elderly to preserve tax cuts for the rich.

As opposed to your kenyan communist fraud and his socialist party of anti-American cronies gutting Medicare for $500 BILLION and looting the treasury for $4 TRILLION in union payoffs?

Yeah, right.

Btw, under George Bush and a GOP congress the USA had RECORD employment.

But your politics-first America-last, progressive communist democrats dont want you to know that, lest they lose the votes of their captive sheep. Namely, you.

Democrat fiscal damage incarnate, in 5 consecutive posts....

When banks started to fail in 2008 that was the beginning of a depression not a recession, and we are still in it. We have never recovered from it, and more than likely we won't because the leaders we have out there are so far out of touch with reality it's not even funny. Especially cracking jokes about being unemployed. These so called leaders have nothing to worry about financially. Once they get into office their set for life. I think that it is about time that these leaders started to take a pay cut, because we can't afford them any longer, and I think that they should have to pay for their own benefits like the rest of us do. This would save taxpayers a lot of money.

What we have now is a far cry better than what conservatives want to give their own.

Look at Boehner... he wants austerity from others while keeping a $450M jet engine that no one wants.

What loons!

George Bush and the GOP-controlled congress brought us back from the dot-com bust and 9/11. Under Bush and the GOP we had an all-time record 52 consecutive months of job growth, 6.8 million new jobs, the DOW near 14,000, the deficit reduced to $161 billion, GDP growth at 3.5%, and unemployment at a nominal 4.2 - 4.5%.

What happened after the Pelosi/Reid democrat cabal took control of congress after the 2006 midterms (110th congress)?

Let's see....

Since the democrats won the 2006 midterms, the Pelosi/Reid controlled 110th congress have looted the treasury for $5.7 trillion and increased the deficit by $1.26 trillion, or 776%.(The republican congress had reduced the deficit from a high of $412 billion in FY 2004 to $319b in FY 2005, to $248b in FY 2006, and ultimately to $161b in FY 2007).

Those same democrats also added $6 trillion (+45.3%) to the national debt ($4+ trillion under Obama), and increased the debt limit by $5.33 trillion (+59.4%), while losing 6.8 million jobs.

And who could forget that those same democrats turned the projected $800 billion SURPLUS over the ten-year period FY 2008-2017 into a $9.7 trillion DEFICIT -- a $10.5 trillion worsening of the budget outlook.

In addition to creating record debt and a record deficit, as a bonus, they've delivered record poverty, record home foreclosures, record food stamp enrollment, doubled unemployment, record bank closures, record high govt-pay, and record low private-sector pay. Along with backroom deals, bribes, government takeovers of our economy, ruinous new taxes and regulations, billions in payoffs to state unions and union pensions, the ruination our healthcare system, made a mockery of congress, and utterly crippled business, confidence, and prosperity in America.

Great. A narcisstic GOP Mormon who think's he's going to be a god over his own universe after he dies (e.g. Mormon doctrine of eternal progression) and hate anyone who isn't rich and can't give him lots of $$$$ campaign money so he can help the GOP thrown future generations of grandparent's under the bus while refusing to fix the broken business trade paradigm.

That's a fair description of your kenyan stooge. But he's a communist, not a mormon.
