Why didn't you include these issues in your analysis?
1. Mandatory enrollment in a "qualified plan" (to be determined at a later date by a bureaucrat). 2. Sec. of Health (a very liberal person) is to determine what a qualified plan covers and how much it will cost 18 months after the bill passes. 3. Costs estimates as follows: With salaries over $44,000,$7300 or 17%of income. Salaries over $102,000 pay $20,300 or 20% of pre tax income. Free loaders earning less will be given government subsidies paid directly to their insurers. 4. The qualified plan to be determined will be a one size fits all with three levels of premiums (all benefits the same, only co-pay different) Everyone except members of congress will be required to enroll, either in a private plan or the government sponsored plan. If you are not in a qualified plan a stiff fine will be charged to you. However illegal immigrants are exempt from this requirement. 5. Employers must have a qualified plan or pay for either 72.5% of their employees plan or pay an 8% payroll tax. Small businesses ($500 to 700,000 payroll pay less. 6. Reduces FUTURE MEDICARE PAYMENTS BY $500 BILLION, MEDICARE PAYS DOCTORS AND HOSPITALS, ALLOWING THE GOVERNMENT TO DICTATE TREATMENT DECISIONS. 7. MEDICARE IS REMOVED FROM A FEE FOR SERVICE (THATS WHEN YOU CHOOSE YOUR DOCTOR) TO WHAT THE GOVERNMENT CALLS A MEDICAL HOME. THIS MEDICAL HOME IS SIMILAR TO AN HMO WHICH DETERMINES WHEN AND WHICH DOCTORS YOU CAN SEE. The bill states you may have to settle for a NURSE PRACTITIONER rather than a doctor as a primary care physician. This practice starts on a test basis but the HHS Secretary is allowed to take the program RAPIDLY ON A NATIONAL BASIS. 8. The bill replaces physicians with physician assistants in overseeing care for Hospice patients. 9. Initiates programs to reduce payments for patient care to what it costs in the lowest cost regions of the country. THIS WILL REDUCE THE STANDARD OF CARE AS WELL AS PAYMENTS FOR CARE. 10. Rations care by having the government dictate to doctors what are best practices in providing care. In English, the government will dictate the types and level of services. BILLIONS OF DOLLARS WILL BE SLASHED FROM MEDICARE AND SENT TO INTER CITIES (READ MOST DEPRESSED AREAS.) FOR SOCIAL WORK AND DIVERSITY STANDARDS, whatever that is, I read ACORN. 11. Provides for grants to community entities with no required qualifications except " documented community and experience with community healthcare workers" (READ ACORN AND OTHER SUCH ORGANIZATIONS) for the purpose of educating guiding and provide EXPERIMENTAL LEARNING on drug abuse, obesity, smoking etc. These services also include free translation and transportation services. 12. Patients,(especially the freeloaders) have a right to receive free translation services with out cost or co-pay for any doctors/hospital visits. 13. ESTABILISHES RACIAL AND ETHNIC PREFERENCES IN AWARDING GRANTS FOR TRAINING NURSES AND CREATING SECONDARY HEALTH SCIENCE SERVICES.(it sounds to me this will definitely dumb down the system, perhaps we will need translators to determine what is said ) |

Looks like Obamy may get his way. Imagine some worthless piece of government worker garbage deciding what medical care you're going to receive while this same corrupt government POS takes bribes to put others in the front of the line. Thanks DEMOCRAPS.

Because they don't WANT the 'common folks' to know what's in the bill. At least Pelosi as telling the truth when she equated this with the "New Deal". She is a Marxist, pure and simple. |
||||
You are a fool! Pelosi is wonderful. |

Ms or Mr obama rules should read the bill. If you agree with Pelosi after reading and enjoy long lines that will result and still think ms. p is wonderful, seek help.
|
|||
Wow. Pelosi is wonderful? Even those in Washington that agree with her will not call her "wonderful". Seems to me that you are seriously dellusional. You might want to see a doctor about that. |

Don't forget....insurance can't be based on pre-existing conditions, but it can be based on age! In other words, us old folks will be faced with massive rate increases because we are considered a higher risk group. Got to love the politicians...would be great if they actually did something good for the citizens.
