It would make sense to just call it what it is, the Welfare Bill. Those on it will get something for nothing, and the middle class will pay for it. It's not rocket surgery.

Thanks the Lord for the great House Republicans who stand up to Obama’s effort to use 80 billion dollars to buy votes of the illegal foreign invaders from Mexico and other South American countries that live on the Obama’s food stamp for lifetime in return for voting Obama. GOP lost the elections of 2008 and 2012 due to the Obama regime conspiracy to use our tax money to buy votes of foreigners across the border that are getting the money through the corrupt farm bill. It is now or never for the Republicans to save America from the corrupt crooks of Obama and his liberal media that use our tax money of 97 millions working in the private sector to give food stamps and benefits to more than 101 million American parasites that refuse to work or to pay taxes.

Did you even read the headline much less the article? You are praising repubs for "standing up to Obama" when they dropped the food stamp part out of the bill?

Having read the article more closely, I retract my previous comment.

These bills SHOULD be split and cuts to BOTH programs should be even deeper.

The majority of farm subsidies go to millionaire city dwellers who happen to own farmland; not to actual farmers.

If you need food stamps, plant a garden.
