American Hellenic Institute President/COO Nick Larigakis visited Capitol Hill on Wednesday, January 5, 2011, to congratulate and welcome members of Congress upon their return to Washington to commence the 112th Congress. Among the members who took the time to meet with Larigakis was U.S. Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL), chairman, House Committee on Foreign Affairs. In the past, Congresswoman Ros-Lehtinen has co-sponsored legislation to support the Greek American community's positions on Cyprus, FYROM, and the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
