What a bullsh*t article.

This is the seat held by the married repub that resigned after getting caught in a shirtless photo on a dating site. The seat was going to change hands.

Republicans are off-message, have poor leadership and no one 'special' running for the presidency.

If they continue in this mode, it spells disaster in 2012.

And just where was Obama this far out from the 2008 elections? It is a long time in political terms.

Poor teabagger, trying to destroy the working middle class is more difficult than brewing a cup of TEA.

WOW!!!!!

This is a big kick in the ass for the right-wingers as a harbinger of what’s to come in 2012. The right-wing tea-baggers assault on unions, women minorities, Social Security, Medicaid and Medicare has caught up with them.
This victory for the Democrats is sending ire chill down the (jellyfish) spine of the republican Party.

People, this is a blood-red right-wing district that the Democrats just picked up… the Ryan budget will be getting major play over the next year leading into the 2012 Elections as the Democrats will make the right carry their plan around their necks, LOL.

The right-wing tea-baggers came into office riding the 2010 election on jobs and over turning President Obama’s signature piece of legislation (Health Care Reform). But it didn’t take long to see that they would never be able to overturn HCR, and that they didn’t have any plans for job growth or creation (not one bill has come out of the republican control House that deals with jobs; NOT ONE!).

But the American people did see that the right came in to over-reach for big corporation on destroying unions, Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security.
The right-wingers can come on here and say whatever talking point fox news gave them this morning; deep down they know that this is a small dose of what’s to come in 2012 when the Democrats will take back the House as we landslide President Obama back into Office for his 2nd term. LOL, I love it.

What a great morning in America!

People in the GOP like me are finally getting fed up with the GOP's embrace of the far right extremist TEA Birther McCarthyists and are leaving the party. This election was a testament to that. Us TRUE conservatives are getting fed up of with the phony conservatism (e.g. talk less spending but spend spend spend; legislating religion) of the extreme right that the party is embracing.

The rural-suburban district between Buffalo and Rochester is one of New York's most conservative and has been held by a Republican for years. But Corwin saw her early lead dissolve after coming out in favor of a Republican budget plan that would cut billions from Medicare, the popular government health care plan for seniors

"The three reasons a Democrat was elected to Congress in the district were Medicare, Medicare and Medicare," Rep. Steve Israel, the chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, said in an interview.

LOL - Bye, bye, Rethugs.

Dems take back the House in 2012........

The national debt was run up by President Reagan, and GW Bush. The portion on President Obama's watch was to repair the damage done by the GW Bush mob.

You do not blame the carpenter for his bill after you rent a house to a renegade motorcycle gang. The Bush Gang wrecked our country, and left us all holding the bag.

Now, after pulling us back from the Great Bush Depression; President Obama is doing a pretty good job with the ship of state.

You’re still trying to beat that “Marist”-horse to gallop towards the finish line that is 2012, but its way past time to send that dead animal to the glue factory.

Marist, Socialist, Communist… when the right-winger loses a “Crimson-Red” district to a so-called Marist-Communist-Socialist-Dem ocrat, that should tell you all that you need to know about the mileage that the right can get out of that slanderous right-wing talking point; that engine has blown; that car is going nowhere else.

Furthermore, this election result also shows just how much power the #1 rated, so-called most trusted name in cable news “fox news” has when it comes down to what matters. Bill O’Reilly beats the competition hands down, right? The fox news channel is #1 (fair and balanced), right?
And yet the Democrats picked up a major victory in spite of all that fox did to promote and push for a republican win… you can have the ratings, I’ll take the elections, LOL.

Good. The Democratic Party needs more backbone when it comes to sealing the borders, sorting out the illegal aliens, and raising taxes to pay off the national debt.

What many call conservatism, as you adroitly observe, is actually a form of drunken Puritanism.

I am a happy heterosexual, who cannot understand how whatever a gay does, including a civil or religious marriage, affects me in any way.

I have no business deciding if someone else needs an abortion, or birth control.

I do believe in a graduated income tax, as a flat tax with no deductions will never happen.

The old guard repub candidate lost because a another candidate who ran for every election possible became a tea party member and was a democrat himself to a progressive hack. And you are proud. This tells you the levels of freedom that has been taken away from us over the years. If we are to be free, this will be cleaned up. And it is not easy with the powers that be. Your side is so much more corrupted because there has not been an attempt to clean it up. So you will lose by attrition ov your own until the light goes on in your brains. What is the winner going to do...vote for more payouts to the rich? I am middle class and have not seen much of anything for me and my family by the Dems. Give me a few grand a year. Of my own money. Your ironclad laws will destroy us because as people become poorwer they will learn to play the rules to a damn good life without doing a damn thing...

Tea-baggers are driving the GOP off a cliff, with cartoon characters as "presidential candidates."

They have scoured, shunned, and banned all sane Republicans out of the party.

Except for the local levels, all Rrepublicans who are left are detached from reality.

Adding to that, Chrysler has paid off the government bail out loan 6 years early and GM is doing quite well. Thanks to President Obama, millions of jobs in the automotive sector were saved and millions of Americans who otherwise would be on unemployment are gainfully employed.

Thank you, Mr. President

Hey Republicans, WHER ARE THE JOBS YOU PROMISED IN THE LAST ELECTION? That is why you were elected. Now, live up to your promise or watch out in 2012.
