Those bans were passed then the majority didn't approve. The country has changed significantly on this issue over the past decade, which is why 3 states just voted in favor of marriage for same-sex couples.

We'll overturn all the remaining bans in due course.

That means that it is normal for it to happen 2% of the time.
If it was completely unnatural, it would never happen.
The fact that it happens 25% of the time makes it a natural variation that happens 2% of the time.
Nature is not a majority type thing. It is a strong to survive thing. You don't have to be part of the majority to survive only strong enough.
Your argument sucks.
Just stick to the cut and paste stuff. You're pretty good at that.
No moron, you must think with your KY tube. It means the 2% are an abnormal abiration of nature.

Funny, that's what the anti-gays said about us winning ANY vote in ANY state; and then we won FOUR votes in a row.

Over 70% of those under age 35 support marriage equality; within a decade the anti-gays won't be able to win a vote in ANY state.

I plan on living much longer than that.

<quoted text>The funny thing is that the most Liberal state(CA) the voters voted against same sex marriage and the goverment step in an over ruled them. See most poeple don't want this yet, so keep dreaming. You are just a liar like Obama when he states that 70% of Americans wanted his damn health care.
That was over 4 years ago; society has changed a lot in those 4 years as evidence by the votes in MN, MD, WA, & ME last November.

In 2000 California voters approved their original ban 61-39; by 2008 that margin had fallen to 52-48. A vote today would certainly pass marriage equality in California.

It is hard to understand why some people get so worked up about an issue (Gay marriage) that is unlikely to affect their lives in any significant way. It sounds like some people are bent on imposing their religion and beliefs on others.

So you think the voters should be able to pass a law which is unconstitutional?

When did voters ever vote on the Healthcare reform? Obama & the Dems specifically campaigned in '08 on healthcare reform and the majority of voters elected them. Sounds like they were doing what the majority wanted.

Thank God the Founding Fathers put forth Checks and Balances in our Govt to prevent the leftwing lunatic, so called "Progressive" Freaks from governing as Dictators and Autocrats. Without Congress, Team Obama would tear this place to shreds.

So in nature a 2% abiration is a normal part of nature.
So homosexualiy is natural because it happens in nature.
Thank you for proving the point you deny.

Unless you plan on marrying some one of the same sex, it doesn't affect you.

Using your logic EVERYTHING affects society as a whole, so we should be voting on everything from taxes to healthcare to defense spending and deployment of our troops and what roads to build etc, etc, etc.

That's what we have a representative government for; we vote for our representatives, and they vote on the thousands of bills needed to run our country.

<quoted text>The azz clowns in DC were put there to vote and pass legislation on what the voters want and not what the idealistic socialist was taught when he was a kid or what some damn lobbiest pays for. Now talk about the constitution. How about gun control and the 2nd amendment. How about for lip service.Obama said last night that the latest gun victims derserve a vote. They did't vote Obama in for health care that he pushed and polls proved that most Americans didn't want it and Obama didn't give a crap because it's what he wanted and fu*k every one else. Get your head out of your azz for once.
Obama campaigned specifically on healthcare reform and was elected in large part on that promise.

As you morons keep saying, the only poll that matters is on election day. If the majority of the country didn't want healthcare reform then they would have voted Obama & the Dems out in '12. Instead they re-elected Obama president AND added more Dems to both the Senate & House.

Consider it payback for 8 years of Shrub.

So,you're saying that voters don't have the right to vote their personal preferences? That if they don't believe in gay marriage they can't vote against it? Is THAT what you're saying?

You do realize they are all liberal states that allow anything and everything. First they legalized dope, then gay sex perverts. They knew after the people were druged the votes were in the bank.
