Nobel Prize for Nazarbaev? It sounds as a joke, isnít it? Or simply, Nobel Prize is not given to the noble man anymore. Is it just a label?.. SadÖ
Nursultan Nazarbaev is responsible for creating system that turns decent person into criminals. The clear evidence of his crime is Kazakhgate case which has been very conveniently withdrawn by the people concerned, perhaps, those who have come up with this funny initiative.
Millions of people had to leave Kazakhstan due to corrupted and unbearable conditions cultivated by Nazarbaev within its bureaucratic machine. There are politicians, journalists, ordinary people who had given their lives for straggle against this Stalin-type management strategy. How come co-called International Community does not see that?
But at the same time, people like Saddam Husein or Robert Mugabe have been severely criticized and even murdered? If these congressmen are so conscious about appreciation for something that has been done by Nazarbaev in 90-s, why donít they analyze his true achievements with regards to his nation? Therefore, it is absolutely obvious that people of Kazakhstan are not considered at all in this case. If man is truly deserve Peace Prize, then he should be able to bring peace into the minds of those millions who he has simply thrown away with the help of his corrupt system and rest of the millions who suffer in silence.
There is only one conclusion in this case. Hypocrisy, ignorance and chaos of todayís world have turned human values up side down, that is why good man sacrifices his life for justice, whereas bad one receives all the awards.
I would suggest instead bring justice back and accomplish the investigation for the sake of self respect and the truth, open to the world real facts of KAZAKHGATE, so that billions of people on this planet will start to believe in existence of JUSTICE.
And last but not the least.
Try and understand yourself the true meaning of Nobility and Peace!

As someone who has spent a couple months in Kazakhstan, I too am shocked that he'd be considered for a peace prize. Yes, he has cooperated with the U.S., but I do not think he puts the needs of the citizens first.

God, I just wish some European country just adapted him and his family together with his nobel prize already.
Kazakhstan needs a young, intelligent, Americanized leader like Obama.

i am appalled that some would even make it a public knowledge that they support such a crook! piece prize? ha ha!!! his whole family should be thrown off the kazakh soil all together!!! he already stole everything he wanted from the people and the country, so you want to give him a nobel prize to make it all justifiable??? you must be joking!
