Are you serious? It is about time he is gone. He scammed hundreds of thousands of dollars from us, maybe even millions.

Yes, who cares about Jay Whoever whatever under storm protection. To the story at hand I believe that it is high time to stop studying and start doing. By listening to the residents that the flood waters of Rita and Ike affected. Yes, do you hear me politico's the key word is listening. We have had the experience now get to work.

A while back a crooked elected official dug up the reefs in the Gulf outside Marsh Island along the coast and sold it to the Parish's for roads and driveways. He got rich and he didn't care what happened to the people when storm surges hit.
He was only interested in making money. Now we have to pay to fix what he destroyed. Many other politicians made money off of crooked dealings with this man. The reefs are gone, we flood and he got rich. The good old boy political system in Louisiana. He's now dead, his family is rich and we have to pay the price.
Of course the ones who were involved in his crooked dealings that are still alive play like they didn't know a thing about it.
The LOVE of money IS truly the root of all evil especially in politics.

Now Preacher you know better than telling a story like this and not saying a name?I do agree, its funny how the minute someone puts his hands on alot of money you can see his goodness start to fade and the devious start to come out. Money does strange things to some people, almost like they are really missing the BOAT!

We have been trying to get ahold of our police juror for two weeks. After the storm our ditches and coulees were stopped up. Water everywhere and it was only a big rain storm. We called, emailed, nothing..... its not even hurricane season and no drainage because of all the trash in the coulees and ditches. Same crap different year.

Scout out the courthouse when it is time to get his check. He WILL BE THERE and you can speak to him at that time.

I don't mind someone getting rich. I just hate seeing good people suffer for their greed.
I don't get it when people don't care about what's going on around them. The lack of concern usually stems from money in their pockets.
I'm not going to mention names because there have been a lot of law suits from speaking the truth and making people mad.
I haven't talked to you in a while. Is everything ok with you and your family? I pray for yall every time the Lord brings yall to mind.

Thank you Preacher. We are doing fine, just the good lord has been keeping us so busy lately with a lot of work coming this way. It seems just when I think I can sit for awhile and take a break, something else comes up. But I have been thinking of you and your wife too, give us a call sometimes and you are always welcome to come over to fish! Boy these topics have been getting a little weird and crazy latley huh? You know spring is in the air & my favorite time of the year, I hope the good Lord keeps those hurricanes far far away this year. All we can do is put it in his hands. Have a great day!

let me tell you about how long these stupid surveys have been going on. in 1984, we had a deluge that fell in the erath area, i had 18" of water in a sunken den. we had a big meeting with all of those "fat" cats and said that an on going survey was in progress. that was 25 years ago and they are still studing????? with all the $$$$ spent on studies we could have had some type of levee built years ago. i dont go to those meetings anymore cause you always get the same response, the almighty survey.

Ernal Broussard and/or his wife posting about what a wonderful person Ernal is and what a great City Councilman he would be for the City of Abbeville. Also posts as ex-juror, lipstick, mamamia and a variety of other handles.

At least three. Someone posted it could be homosexual slang, but I don't know if it is true or not.

"bonny" does not appear to be a homosexual slang term, unless its a local Vermilion Parish thing.
