La. Rep. Boustany asks Obama to visit Cameron
CAMERON - U.S. Rep. Charles Boustany is asking President Obama to include southwest Louisiana on his upcoming trip to the Gulf Coast.

As was the case 4 years ago, southwest Louisiana does not exist to the federal government. Only when we have to pay our federal taxes. Hurricane Rita didn't happen. And to think we have 3 more years of this madness.

Not enough BLACKS in Cameron to vote for him so he didn't want to go. Of course it wasn't only the BLACKS that put him in office

True, but even before Obama become el presidente, the feds ignored Rita and it would seem that this Mr. President would have recognized that fact that Louisiana still exists on the map. And I don't mean just New Orleans. I truly think it is an insult to the great people of our area who didn't sit around waiting for those almighty "you owe us" handouts.
