Did you even read what the article was about? She wasn't promoting "green peas," she was just reading the kids a story about a mouse that happens to eat green peas... it was supposed to be something fun for the kids that would promote eating vegetables and exercise. It's not like the "green pea lobby" was paying here to be here pushing their "green pea agenda."

It's really awesome how those of you who don't like President Obama (and by extension his wife) will grab on to anything in the news, even if it is completely bat-$#!^-crazy, to bash them over. There are TONS of stuff you could choose to bash Obama and company about... but all you can come up with is finding something negative about her reading a story to kids that is intended to get them to eat/live healthy? Very sad... but it shows the low mentality of the typical Republican/conservative. You don't have "facts" and real issues, just personal attacks which don't even make sense half the time.

Also...

Who the heck told you anyway that eating green peas is bad? Try reading up on it a little and educate yourself.

Though... things like "facts" and "fancy book learnin' " have never been very popular with the typical Republican/conservative has it?

What a gracious and beautiful First Lady; those kids were excited to see First Lady Obama come in to encourage healthy eating and exercise. Now a day’s too many kids want to just stay inside eating chips on the couch playing video games. When I was a kid I loved playing outside, running, having fun breathing the fresh air.
Thanks to Michelle Obama many children will grow up healthier and happier.

You are a shining example of what it means to be a Republican Conservative. That is to say, foul mouthed, crude, and proud of your ignorance.

Congratulations, I am sure the above comments you posted would make your parents, your Church, and your community proud.

Read the story! The title of the book in question was never mentioned. However, it was a simple children's story about eating healthy and exercising. What could be wrong with that? If she had been reading bible stories, you would have been calling Jesus a commie.

It's a typical conservative Republican reaction... very obstinate and hypocritical. If President Obama announced tomorrow that he was changing all his policies 100% and becoming a Republican, you would announce that Republicans suck and that you are becoming a Democrat. People like you are so entrenched in opposition mentality, you don't even care what the issue is about, you just automatically want to take the other side without even bothering to THINK.
