No surprise a Dem won. Dems are always smarter than rethugs who tend to be ignorant and uneducated! This is why right wingers fear and hate education! The more educated a person is the less likely they will be a right wing whackaloon!

If you read the news on it, dipshit, there was a republican there who did well also, Holt beat them both to the buzzer a few times
which shows he has a faster thumb. You redundant claims are hysterical to say the least. Fear and hate education?? Boy, it isn't republican supporters who are members of unions, most on welfare are demorat supporters and push for government to take care of them. The more educated a person is are likely to be doctors, engineers, CEO's and other important people who vote.....republican.

Try to keep up!

"....While it was fun to outdo Watson for one night in trivia, it is vital that, as a nation, we out-innovate, out-educate, and out-build the rest of the world for generations to come," he said."

well since there is no lack of knowledge, I even more amazed that none of them have been able to articulate ANY plans to the masses to accomplish these goals.

this mans performance shows we need to raise the bar for what we consider congress material, I is only one problem having an high intelligence doesnt always make you a great person/leader.

A Democrat, naturally.
Sure - brains, but no common sense. Can't tie his shoes while chewing gum. Can't understand why you don't cure a $14 trillion debt by spending trillions more. Nobody said Dems are stupid. They're just immature dreamers with no firm grasp of reality. Like small children with car keys and a vote, they're a disaster waiting to happen.

My kids are smart too. I wouldn't let any of them run the country.

No, one mustn't let smart people run the country. Things were going so much better when idiot-in-chief #43 was in charge.
If you think Republicans have common sense, your children are smarter than you.

I thought Dems were smart. Where in my post did I say I liked the idiot-in-chief #43? He was spending money we don't have too. You also seem to think there are only two parties. Tea, anyone?

I didn't say you liked Bush. You accused the left of lacking common sense, implying that the right had a more practical, common-sense approach to things. You seemed to dismiss smartness as something possessed only by unrealistic flakes. I cited George Bush as an example of what can happen to a country when smartness is diminished as an important attribute.
I know that there is a so-called tea party. I hope you are not a teabuscuit.

You make a lot of unwarranted assumptions. Bush was a RINO, not a real Republican. Like his father, he spent like a drunker sailor. Both side have done it for decades, although Obama has been the worst yet. I'm for ANYONE, Democommie, Repuglirat or Tea Bagger who will reign in this crazy spending. That's just common sense.

You don't have to be a rocket scientist to know that we're broke and that it's impossible to spend yourself out of bankruptcy. There are idiots and eggheads on both sides. I could care less. We didn't elect them to invent cold fusion or cure cancer. They just supposed to have the minimum amount smarts to see what's plainly evident: WE'RE F*CKING BROKE! It's not a complicated concept. Just about all levels of intelligence can get it without too much trouble. Jesus Christ, my garbage man can understand this!(Come to think of it, I think his name really is Jesus.)
