PENNY ROYAL WILL KILL ANTS! IT'S A HERB. HALITO --do health care insurance companies pay you to write junk? THE BUSH REPUBLICAN GAVE MONEY TO AIG TO KEEP JOBS! We are not here to keep the doctor job with government money! http://www.youtube.com/watch... WHAT’S HAPPENING? Proposals from the Bush administration and its allies in Congress to “reform” and/or “modernize”(read “privatize”) Medicare will leave seniors and people with disabilities without guaranteed, affordable, and reliable health care, exposing their families to financial crisis. Rather than make traditional Medicare better, they want to turn most, if not all, of Medicare over to private insurers and to force people on Medicare into HMOs. President Bush is expected to call for these changes to Medicare in his State of the Union speech on January 28 and his budget to be announced in early February. The fight over his Medicare privatization proposal is likely to play itself out initially in the fight over prescription drug coverage for people on Medicare. The administration may also blame the increasing federal deficit on Medicare, rather than on their own tax and economic policies, and call for changes to Medicare on that basis.
