House wants new credit-card rules in force now

The House voted yesterday to accelerate the enforcement date of new rules for credit-card companies after voters complained of a rise in interest rates and steep new fees.

The government should enact the law retro-active IMHO as the grace period they allowed banks were only taken advantage of. They need to force thebanks that anyone who has expressed disgust as I have verbally with the rate changes be forced to lower them back to 80% of the total rate increase if no ill payment history.

They should really punish the CC companies by limiting interest to 5%. It is ridiculous that single mothers have to pay 22% on CC purchases mostly used for food and clothing.

Keep a husband, get a job, and raise the children correctly instead blaming others for your lot in life. Try doing it the right way for once in your life.
