I'm going to guess that you're a liberal and an idealist. I get what you're saying, I do. I was raised by a highly educated, liberal mother and father.(They are now conservatives) They taught me to love and accept everyone including people of different races, cultures and sexual identity.
I lived in an all white town. When I got older I lived in a predominately black city. I also lived in a place at times where it was 90% poor blacks. That did change my views. Those people hated whites. Hated! They were extremely racist and prejudiced and hateful towards whites. They were almost vengeful and would turn on you in a second. Even the ones I called friends I knew didn't truly like me. They even admitted it in round about ways.
To this day I do not feel I am racist, but I do think most blacks are. If I meet a black person I immediately think that deep down they hate me.
Only idealists and people that have never really lived in a black community spout the stuff that you are. Most Whites are not that into skin color and try very hard to make it right towards blacks, but unbeknownst to whites a lot of blacks secretly hate your guts and want to see you suffer.
You guys are deluded and kidding yourselves.
Ther is a lot of hate, both ways, still.

We must grow beyond it, and the best way is to get to know each other. Work and school offers the best path to that goal.

You don't like it the way you find it, Try harder.
