Judge Rules Electronic Bingoa

JASPER, Alabama - A judge has ruled that bingo halls in Walker County that use electronic player stations are illegal and has ordered the halls shut down immediately.

It's a real shame that the electronic bingo establishments were shut down in Walker County. I see the ones in B'ham are still open, yet it was a Judge in Jefferson Cty who order they be closed. When is Alabama going to wake up and smell the coffee? Many go to other states to play the lottery or gamble at "real casino's". Just think - if Alabama wasn't so backwards, we could have that money (of course you have to put the right people in office to oversee it, otherwise I am sure it wouldn't work). This tells me that Gov. Riley doesn't trust the people of Alabama, and he is running this state like a "dicktater". It is time for a change. Afterall, how long did you have to wait for your Alabama State refund? Wake up people !!!

Gov. Riley IS a change. We had "The Don" Seigleman, if you remember, and he was so crooked that a snake would break his back trying to follow him. If you want "electronic bingo" which is really nothing more than a "Bass Ackwards" Walker County way of saying slot machines, propose a Constitutional Amendment and let the people vote on it. Just beware, the same was tried with the lottery and it was voted down.

BTW - I got my refund three weeks after filing. But I did mine online and had it Direct Deposited.
