Reduce government cost by attrition and freeze salaried employees until compensation returns to market values.
Stop all COLAs.

Ray one, so you would have the worker pay for the cost of goverment by freeezing salaries---sounds like the tea bagging way to do things. Have you ever wondered what the cause of our goveremnt deficit is? Take a look at our tax books and read for a while and digest the real cause. 4 billion top oil companies tht are making billions in profits is an example of cause of deficit spending, another is that a millionaire can set up astock sale in the future and collect on the none sa,e as it has not sold his stock--and pay no taxes, a question to youRayOne, Does Romney even pay taxes on his money earned or is he getting special tax breaks because of loop holes. And do you sweat for a living on the job. Happy new years Ray one and enjoy yourself. I am.

Another reason ray one that we have deficits is simple, the politiciians are bought and paid for. The lobbyist write up the bill to be introduced and if it passes the lobbyist passes on the money to the legislator for doing such a good job for his boss. It is just another hog swilling at the trough and the lobbyist client has a smile on his face for a job well done. By the way RAY ONR, the REsearch and DEVelopement is being lost to foreign countris. We are educating foreigners in our colleges who take that knowledge home to their country and beat us over the head with it . Meanwhile we have lost the industries we have educated thsoe foreigners in as they are now selling us their productswe taught them to make. There are some of the resons we have deficits as well as a high import of gooods--we produce nothing--go to walmart an see a store full of only foreign made products imported from foreign markets

The tax payers are the only people paying.
