For the most part, California voters have taken this state to the brink of ruin over the years and continue the death spiral. Brown, Boxer - keep the old hands in the pot to keep us on the wayward path.

Interesting mix of red, blue ink in S.J.'s political fingerprint

STOCKTON - The Republican "red wave" that crashed over most of the country during the midterm elections did not engulf California.

It did, however, splash into parts of the state, including the Valley.

San Joaquin County holds a politically unique place in the state's political landscape, and there were signs of the "wave" in the county outcomes. One of the county's two Democratic congressmen is still fighting to hold a seat in a race that's too close to call. The second had to fend off a Republican challenger for the first time in four years.

But there also were signs that the county has much in common with the still-very-blue state of California.

All three Democratic state Assembly members...

Too many people in Ca live off of the government to actually want any type of fiscal reform or responsible spending. Evidently those folks used some of their welfare/unemployment/ AFDC/etc. check to carpool to the polls last week.

Califonia is "Stuck on Stupid" due to it's complete surrender to and embracement of Democrat Liberal Socialist promisies of never ending entitlement programs to all for continued support of Democrat leaders!

California has had almost 60 years of a Democrat majority controlled State Assembly and Senate and the Sociaist entitlement mentality has been an integral part of our Socialist indoctrination education system since the very early 70's!
