IMHO, the 2nd amendment was included, not so much to defend against foreigh invaders, rampaging indians, and lawless types, but to counteract a centralized federal government and the national army they controlled.

I hope someday that these corupt politicians that use there power to supress the law abiding citizens rights are removed from office and replaced by someone who will represent the people, the way it should have been all along and when you are in office (Boxer, Schiff), you should be transparent in your stance on all issues and held accountable when you change that stance ( a valid and justifiable explanation backed by facts, not money/greed) or make grose decisions. Do not punish the whole for what the few have done! I am proud of the 5 Justices that backed the Constitution and question how the other 4 could see it so different. Guns are not the problem, people are. Try banning pregnancy for people who are not capable of raising a child. Bet that doesn't go very well. Make criminals work hard for the crimes they pay. Disconnect them from society, stop their gang activity within the prisons, and make them really earn their keep. How can we allow them to go to prison for a crime and continue to be criminals while locked up behind bars? That is something that needs to change and maybe prison won't be like a family reunion for these low lifes. This country is great, could be greater, and may not be for much longer if we don't get a handle on the real important issues.

Let all of us not forget that the only people affected by gun laws are law abidding citizens.
Gang S-heads, illegals from "Latin" America, and people who have served time in prison do not have to worry about the laws that restrict you in all manners of firearm ownership and carry.
Look no further than Orange County with the "new" girl on the block, Hutchinson, ain't no way in hell your going to get a CCW from "her" Dept.!
And Kalifornia in general, good luck.
Fienstien and Boxer? Liberal Lesbo's who by the way want your guns and have passed many laws against you all in the name of stopping crime. They both have their CCW's and Fienstien and Boxer both live in gated communities with 24 hour, gun carrying security and both have permits for and do indeed carry 38 cal. pistols in their purses.
I guess only the best people deserve the right of firearm ownership in Kalifornia! LOL

Wow! If you can't count on politicans to protect you who can you count on?

Many liberal democrats remain unaware that it is illegal for criminals to commit crimes.

That's right. Too many people forget how unprotected the lives and property of LA's residents were during those dark days. I had my guns out and ready to go, so did a couple of my neighbors and the other neighbors were glad to know we had our own neighborhood defense. In the case of a major earthquake or another Rodney King type riot, an individual needs to defend herself, her home, and her family. The police will have bigger problems to deal with and we will be on our own.
