To say John Colbert is not qualified is a joke. I would rather have someone of his accomplishments and integrity represent me than someone like Adam Schiff who has been voting in every election, but voting the WRONG WAY

Wow! Typical liberal mentality. When you can't address the issues, call people names. Either you folks are unemployed or union members who don't give a rats rear end to what happens to this country. There is no proof of any racism. Good try Democrats.

People are morons. They'll support the Tea(bag) Party not knowing that they actually endorse Republicans. It's these same people that complain that the two party system is a joke.

Tea Party = Republican Party!

/facepalm

These people are a bunch of good for nothing whiners. Complaining about too much government. If you hate big government so much why not relinquish your medicare. Social security too. And while you're at it campaign for an end to the pointless wars that are a drain on the national balance book. The trouble is with these folks is they say they want less government but less government to them is inevitably the government they don't use. Wake up tea baggers: 75% of the federal budget is defense and entitlement programs for the old. That's right. You guys are the drain here. Someone should start those death panels and put you out of your misery and sop draining my pocketbook keeping you sorry good for nothing lame excuse for a human beings alive. The world wwould be better off with you fat old white people dead. You all suck.

Is what that guy is in the photo. And I get he thinks it's the government's problem via medicare to keep him healthy. These tea baggers are a bunch of limp, soggy losers who care about keeping resources for themselves at the expense of others. Basically if government doesn't support, or do or provide for them it get's too big. You know what? Look in the mirror! People like the guy in this picture are what's too big. And they got fat on the government they claim is too big the minute it does something for anyone other than themselves. Se the tea freaks for what they are: Self-absorbed, self-centered, old white people who had their day and now resent the changing tide that is rightfully pushing them to the side. I say push them all the way to Alaska and set them naked on an ice flo with Sarah Palin and the rest of their ilk to feed the polar bears their self driven choices have endangered...

Call them the iced tea party...no one cared. Why do people like this even participate in public discourse when the combination of being poorly informed, self interested and self righteous is so apparent and clearly off putting. Its like the jesus fish equivalent of political participation. All about promoting one's righteousness with no definable message that even supports it morally, ethically, fiscally or otherwise. Jingoistic nonsense...

I just wish McAustin would have made some sensible decisions about the problems in her own district. She won't even discuss a nuisance property in her own neighborhood with the neighbors who have suffered for years. What then is her agenda?

aye my friend, but they still do participate in discourse.
With me!
I troll these threads looking for ignorance, you might call me the ignorance police!! people are so thick headed with the smeal that come spewing out of the fox box and the fatrush show. They take it as gospel without checking to see if some of these facts they are getting are even real or not. I call it the Fox alterverse.

I tend to believe both parties got us to where we are and we(the middle class) have been sold down that corporate river of poverty.

they are mostly well off retirees that are pissed off more people arn't as rich as they are. They support or un-support issues in a small picture self interested kind of way. They are clueless of a bigger picture. bitch #1 unions(evil) to them
bitch # 2 taxes
bitch #3 illegals
its a pretty mono world over there(on threads dominated by the right) in terms of ideas and theres lots of racism. and I get bored looking for intelligent folks, because they are few and far between. Its nice to come here every now and then and rest.

Both parties had a hand in this disaster. Regan had a chance to do credit reform but the big banks talked him out of it. That is when the disintegration was certain. NAFTA and such was rich sauce for the goose.
geez your like the first person ive seen in months that mentioned Nafta as a negative without being called out first
I police alot of ignorant right wing threads, and make sure their fox alterverse knowlegde is correct. Its an uphill job foe sure!
the racism is astounding too. its a tough job but somebody of independant political virtue has to do it!
both parties had a hand in ALL the disasters that lead to this, including designing this monitary system.

Honey cakes, ill take you on on any issue you want
I'm an independant
And I'm from the rational world, you know, planet earth?
unions? how about outsourcing?
don't you think THAT is a larger problem?
Ill admit there are some corrupted unions
but corporate america and the greed dynasty they have created is firmly to blame. Its been a culture of greed and corruption.
Business will self regulate themselves? what universe do you live in?
the fox alterverse perhaps?

Apparently, your lack of wisdom, reason and history is clearly evident by your post. LOL
My understanding is that the tea party movement recognizes that the future of liberty depends on America reclaiming the true nature of the Constitution and the rule of law.
This is a concept that the current Democrat machine in Washington has forgotten because of their Marxist and oppressive ideology.
Most rational individuals understand this.
This is why Democrats will lose seats this November.
Oh - and jobs...
I think your points are valid on paper, but out here in the real world, the democrats are NOT marxists, they are novice corporatists,
the republicans politicians being the experts.

if you truly have a grasp on history then you know about the "know nothing party" or so they were dubbed. they were called that because this is a nation built on immigration, and if you go around spewing hate towards the new guy, him and his friends won't vote for you in the tough to win presidential race. thats what you face. TOO many bigots in your party to win.

just to remind you the constitution has never been used to limit people's rights only to expand them. If you could let bill frist know that, I'd appreciate it.

ps: what are your thoughts on NAFTA?
