It insane to give money to weathly people looking for handouts...They chose to live in those mud, fire, and rain prone areas and now they want social welfare. I hope their homeoner's insurance goes up...This defintely brings new meaning to the word, "Mud on your face, big discrace." People in LaCanada should be ashamed of themselves...

They do not deserve to be helped, considering the fact that they have more than enough money to rebuild and it is their own fault that their homes fell apart. They chose to live on the hills. This is one of the reasons as to why we are in a recession, because nobody wants to take responsibility for their own decisions and now we all have to suffer for the mistakes that others made. That is unfair.

just because someone lives in what someone else might refer to as "wealthy' NOT everyone in La Canada is rich. When my parents bought that house 47 years ago it was not a wealthy neighborhood it was a working class neighborhood.
WE are suffering, and some day I hope you pull your heads out of the sand, people are trying their best to deal with a series of tragic events and you choose to bash us for living in a nice area...is it NOT our fault that there was a deadly fire that burned several hundred of acres and killed two fire fighters...it is NOT our fault that it rained and now a flood happened ... it is the fault of the sick person who started the fire.
Some day if you suffer a tragic event in your lifes no one bashs you like you are to us. God help you.
