Blacks have discovered Obama for what they suspected he was to begin with: the NEWEST in a long line of black would-be-messiahs/hucksters who were also at first described as charismatic, inspirational, visionary, and eloquent. Those names include the likes of Marion Barry, Carl Stokes, Coleman Young, Richard Hatcher, Kenneth Gibson, and Lionel J. Wilson.
Each failed miserably, and though black people are loath to acknowledge that fact out loud, deep down, they know it. Black politicians -- especially of the liberal Democrat bent -- are all doomed to failure because each one believes he's the second coming of Dr. Martin Luther King. Their shtick is all the same: lofty rhetoric, pretensions of divinity, charm that inspires unquestioning, religious-like devotion (sound familiar?).
AS A FORMER JOURNALIST, I've learned that most polls commissioned by news outlets are done not to reflect reality, but to distort it. In the same way Hollywood has discovered it can cheaply FILL AIRTIME with so-called "reality shows," news outlets have found they can fill their pages with polls.
Book it: Romney's going to win this election in a romp come November. I'm certain of this because there is a key factor that's being overlooked this time around -- BLACKS HAVE LOST THEIR PASSION FOR OBAMA.
I see that LOSS REFLECTED IN THE FACES OF MY FELLOW BLACKS, who at the mention of Obama's name no longer beam with rapturous joy -- something we blacks normally reserve for winning lottery tickets and intimate getaways with persons not our spouses. As the saying went in the 'hood where I grew up: "If he looks happy, he's either hit the number or he's cheating."
I also hear it in their voices. Back in 2008, when blacks spoke of Obama, it was like they were describing an encounter with the divine. Obama was "The One" and the "savior of the black man," as my Aunt Gladys shouted over the telephone to me after learning ... Blacks are clearly engaged in excuse-making for a failed deity.
But most of all, I see blacks' loss of passion for Obama in their eyes. Before, when blacks spoke of Obama, they looked you square in the eye with confident, euphoric gazes, much like a cat eying a cornered mouse. But the reality of double-digit unemployment, diminishing household incomes, and soaring gas and grocery bills sank in long ago in the black community. Now when blacks talk about Obama, their eyes are listless and dull, almost despondent.
Oh sure, when it comes to their waning ardor for Obama, blacks put up a good front, especially around whites -- i.e., pollsters. But I know my people "like every square inch of my glorious naked body" ...When in the wrong and confronted by whites, blacks will always hide their true thoughts and feelings.....

Evict Barack the two faced devil. Beware the man who walks among you in your likeness. They are more dangerous than your known enemies for they catch you off guard.
In spite of all that, most will still vote for him because hes black and Romney is white.

OK, allow me to agree with you on what you said above. Now the question remains, these were promises he made during the campaign and failed to deliver, SO, is he inept or is he a liar?
Thank you for your reasonable response. Inept or a liar? A campaign promise that he was unable to meet.

That being said, when romney says he will change Washington, to you believe him or do you understand that he may try, but he does not really have the power to do that? Would you hold it against him if he failed to change Washington?

Did you hold it against bush that he wasn't able to put the adults in charge when he was first elected?

A ten trillion debt, he did not create but inherited. As for the stimulus, Obama actually said unemployment would not go over 8% since unemployment was already over 6% at that time. That was a bif gaffe on O's part since every single economist said that it was impossible for the stimulus to take effect immediately.
I will agree that obama inherited the 10 trillion debt, HOWEVER it now stands at 16Trillion, ergo, obama increased the national debt by over 50%, most of it in his first two years when he had a democrat majority in both houses. If the stimulus was not to take effect yet, why is he calling for another?

Because he knows if he gets it, there is an excellent chance that will be all it takes to destroy our country.

For years, black people came out to the polls and voted when there were NO black candidates involved at all. Any vote cast would be for someone white and I would hope that those votes were honestly cast for the best candidate.
I am not certain that our country would have survived if black people had refused to vote for anyone who was not of their own skin color.

Obama wants NOTHING to do with Islam any more. But his sponsors won't let him. The only way is for Democrats to stand down from voting for him.

Obama's heart is not in being president any more. His muslim sponsors and the media paid by the sponsors keep pushing him to campaign. BUT HE DOESN'T WANT THE JOB ANY LONGER. His DNC speech was dull and Michelle looked fragile.

Free Barack

It is increasingly obvious that Obama wants to get out of the White House, not just to take vacations, visit Letterman, and go golfing, but to be free of the responsibilities of the office of President itself, and those horrid media types are doing everything in their power to make him stay where he is. It's time to free Barack.

This week for the very first time, Obama got free of "Pack Journalism" and faced actual questioning on Univision, instead of the yentas on The View, Entertainment Tonight, "Pimp With the Limp" and such, and he made clear what I've suspected for a long time: He wants out of the Presidency.

Yes, you heard me -- he wants O.U.T.

"The most important lesson I've learned is that you can't change Washington from the inside." So said the Man whose 2008 campaign theme was "Hope and Change." "You can only change it from the outside."

How else to explain things like turning over his signature legislation, Obamacare, to Reid and Pelosi, refusing to meet with Prime Minister Netanyahu in favor or a joke fest on Letterman where he claims not to even know the extent of the national debt? Going off to a fundraiser in Vegas as our embassies burn and a dead or dying Ambassador is being hauled through the streets of Benghazi?

DO NOT VOTE FOR OBAMA. LEAVE HIM ALONE.

Penny Pritcher and others are offering him and his wife a posh mansion in California he they couldn't afford on their own.

Racist games are OVER. Jobs will open again. 2012. Romney is not too bad for Democrats at all!

God forbid the numbskull RACIST Biden take over if Barack collapses.

Ron Paul is MUCH more of a Constitutional scholar than I could ever be- but I believe that he wants the least encroahment of government into people's lives as possible- but understands that there must be some oversight on monopolies and banking.
i listened to the link you sent me as to why he opposed the repeal of Glass-Steagal. He said that he did not support government regulating banking but that he supported it because the banks are backed by the feds. So basically in a Ron Paul world, baks would be allowed to become too big to fail, while their customers funds would not be guaranteed by the government.
Sounds dangerous to me.

Most of this debt was because of a war started by the previous office. Debt from this war was shameful. We did not need to go to war! Remember, we were looking for weapons that were never found.

Actually, NO, the reason he spent and spent is because it is in his DNA as a community organizer. Half a billion for a buddy with a solar company that ran with the money. Billions and possibly trillions for a health care joke. I thought demo-C-rats were not that much for big companies, why did he coin the term "Too big to fail".

The fact is that the recession was caused because of the failure of banking and lending institutions many of which (fannie and freddy) who were forced to make substandard loans. Can we say democrats playing to their voting base?

Actually if you have a memory, most of the problems started with the lending institutions, the ones that Charging Charlie Rangle and others forced to make all of the substandard loans. Loans that to this date are in litigation and foreclosure. Actually, as history has proven, was is an insturment to get an economy going just check out WW2 and Vietnam. To be honest they stimulate production of war materials, other items associated with needs for the military such as MREs and it actually started the Hummer craze that lasted a few years. It also gives jobs to many who would be on the unemployed rolls and kills off excess population. Only after a war, when the cost of the medical problems become apparent does war really become a negative cash flow.
