Self Destructive behavior generally has bad Consequences! Law Breakers should suffer, NOT law abiding citizens! Since our elected Representatives do not want the laws enforced, what next ...? More taxes to pay for illegal aliens??

Oh, so Agriprocessors should be let off the hook? Right. I think many citizens have forgotten what this country was founded on. It's sad that the words of Emma Lazarus no longer seem to ring true. For shame.

It didn't say anything about invading,it says a door, come through the door legally and come in peace;or don't come at all.

Many of the illegal invaders have NOT come in peace. For shame.

Are you as outraged as I am about this mexican put on congress. Let's vote them out for treason. They have no voice in this. Between the white and Black population count in the US., there is over 90% vote that could vote out these traitors. They are vermin who take up for parasites called illegals. All that want to get this show on the road, remember that November is the month to vote all mexican traitors out. A mexican caucus is ridiculous. They are first Americans that swore to uphold the laws of the land. If they won't do it, then vote the losers out as fast as we can. This is no time to be a faint hearted citizen. It is your duty to get these lecherous maggots out of our communities. Employers take heed. You will be turned in for employeeing these illegals. Our leaders in congress do not care any more about their constituents. Let's surprise everyone and vote all of the losers out. We can do it. We must do it. It is our duty to save this country.

My two grandfathers both now deceised would be 130 and 101 years old. One fought in ww1 and the other in ww2. I often wish they could both be back for a while as I would highly value thier thoughts on todays current events.unfortunately I have to settle for both of them rolling over in thier graves and think for my self.

Effort to woo manager brought big fine to Mack
Rob Sabo, 7/21/2008
An inconspicuous meeting at a Reno Wendys restaurant in 2000 was the first step leading to a $1 million fine for Mack Associates, operator of 11 Reno McDonalds restaurants, for knowingly employing illegal immigrant workers and providing two workers with false names and Social Security numbers.
Mack Associates, headed by Luther Mack, will pay the fine as part of a plea agreement entered last week in a case heard before U.S. District Court Judge James C. Mahan. Three of its executives pleaded guilty to related charges and now face possible fines and jail time.
The plea stemmed from a late September 2007 U.S. Immigrations and Customs sweep of area McDonald’s that netted 58 illegal immigrants.
Court documents spelled out the story: Joe Gillespie, director of operations for Mack Associates, and Jimmie Moore, a company vice president, approached former McDonald’s manager Felipe Garcia in May 2000 to see if he’d return as manager of a McDonald’s store in the Reno area.
The plea agreement states that Garcia was offered his old job back and was provided with a name and Social Security number of “Jesus F.,” the deceased ex-husband of Gillespie’s wife. A manager at a McDonald’s location prepared an I-9 form that said Garcia — now using the assumed name and Social Security number — was a legal resident authorized to work in the United States. He was paid under the false name. Moore knew about the use of the false name, federal prosecutors said in court filings.
A second problem for Mack Associates and its executives came from their employment of Nereyda Salgado, a Mexican national who worked for McDonald’s from March 2003 to September 2007.
Salgado was hired using the name and Social Security number of her boyfriend at the time.
In 2006, the boyfriend told Salgado she could no longer use his Social Security number. Moore told her he would take care of it. The next pay period Salgado received a paycheck in the name of “Nancy G.” and was told by Mack Associates Controller Antoinette Richmond that Nancy G. was Salgado’s new name for payroll purposes. Salgado was paid as Nancy G. from mid-2006 until September 27, 2007.
Attorneys for Mack entered a guilty plea on behalf of the company to one count of conspiracy to encourage and induce and alien’s unlawful residence in the U.S. and one count of aiding and abetting an alien to remain in the U.S., both felony offenses.
Each count carries a $500,000 fine, the maximum allowed. Mack and Associates also was placed on probation for a year. Mack and Associates was ordered to pay $300,000 immediately and the balance within nine months.
Gillespie pleaded guilty to one felony count of aiding and abetting an alien to remain in the United States, a felony. Moore, who pleaded guilty to one felony count of inducing an illegal alien to remain in the U.S., faces a maximum sentence of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine at sentencing. Richmond was charged with a misdemeanor count of continuing employment of an illegal alien.
Robert E. Goldman, an attorney for Warrington, Penn.-based Fox Rothschild, which represented Mack Associates, said in a written statement that Mack Associates has accepted full responsibility in the matter and cooperated fully with the U.S. Department of Justice in the investigation. Mack Associates has also offered to work with the federal government to ensure compliance with employment laws.
In a telephone interview, Goldman noted that the investigation exonerated Luther Mack of any knowledge of or participation in the immigration issues.
“I think the case is a wake-up call for a lot of businessmen that they need to learn from our experience that they have to be actively attuned to their worksite to avoid investigation and prosecution,” he said.“Putting in place an active compliance program is an excellent way for businessmen to avid the problems that we faced.

Gutierrez, you are a disgrace and a traitor. I cannot WAIT until you are gone. The Catholic Church, of which I am a member, should be indicted for conspiracy to commit felony for their role in encouraging illegal immigration. Of course, they need a fresh supply of victims.
Illegal aliens: GET OUT. YOU are doing this to your children, and it is no better than pimping. You have NO RIGHTS HERE, anymore than we do in your country.

The immigration service did not make felons of anyone. This people broke the law when they came here. Now they want protection from the same government, the same set of laws they diregarded. Crimminals should be pursued or our government is simply a body that no longer protect justice or the citizens of this country. If they want protection under US laws they need to start following them when they immigrate here.

Hey, you Hispanic caucus congressmen, aren't you suppoded to represent the American people? If the Hispanic politicians and advocacy groups, and the many churches, did not encourage them to come illegally, they would not be here. Place very large fines on the employers of illegals to also stop the flow. Don't give illegals any benefits. The jobs could then go back to taxpaying, legal workers.
American politicians, tell the lawmakers of the Hispanic countries to face their responsibilities.
There is a legal process for those who want to immigrate here.

Anyone know anything bucky-beaver Gutierrez has done for the "other than Hispanics?" He's nothing but a weapon of the Mexican reconquista and LaRaza.

Why can't we enforce our laws?

If our county's laws are out dated or broken, lets have congress fix them, but lets not wink at them, obeying the ones we like, and ignoring the ones we don't.
If there is no rule of law or enforcement, our county society will only continue to sour.

Why in the hell should there be reform? If you want to come in to this country, you must do it legally! As far as the people who owned this plant, they should be shut down. They are doing nothing more than trying to re-invent the sweat shops of old. I am fourth generation Irish. My great grandparents on both sides sought a better life in America. And they did...legally! They came on boats through Ellis Island and touched american soil for the first time leagally! I have no sympathy for illegals at all. Keep the raids going and ship them back home.

You know, these special interests are correct. There should be no laws whatsoever. That way no one is an illegal, no one will be working unpaid overtime, no Corporation will ever have to skip out on taxes and, joy of joys, politicians will once again be paragons of human virtue.

Bullocks. I truly can not believe how stupid my fellow Countrymen have become. This is in Iowa, for crying out loud, you were once the backbone of this Country. Now it seems there IS no spine left at all.

First of all I have many suspicions regarding this article. I do not believe a majority of that city wants to stop illegal immigration. I believe the marxist press and that commie congressman were very selective in who they interviewed. I dobt very seriously they took a citywide poll. These people had no right whatsoever to be here, many used false or stolen identities. They are criminals. They should all be deported, the plant shut down and the owners jailed, period.

Everyone that is outraged should contact this congressman and the city officials and tell them where to get off. I am going to. It is easy nowdays so take the time to do it and tell him if Santana had not fielded such a lousy crappy army he would not be facing this issue today. It their fault not ours.

Why are you people complaining. The laws of this country are to be respected. The should arrest all those congressman who voted against the raids. Nobody should be in this country illegally. Try to go to a third world country to work without papers....they will kick you in the back and send you home.

Illegal is illegal.
I was punished for doing something illegal. I did my time, paid my debt and have been a law-biding, hard working citizen ever since.
If you're doing something illegal, no matter what, in America you have to face the punishment that you're due no matter what.
If they're illegal acts are forgiven/forgotten then I want mine to be forgiven/forgotten too. I was born here in America, work hard for a living, and pay my share of taxes and medical bills. Why should illegal activity be forgiven for people from other countries when legal American citizens' aren't.
Illegal is illegal.
