The goal was to shut down the Government, but now they are at a loss to deal with it. There's no end game. Desperately they need a way out, to save face, and not eat crow. Let them stew. If Democrats won't save them, it will be up to what's left of 'moderate' Republicans to capitulate.

This is typical rhetoric from Pelosi. She has no original ideas, no morals, no honor. All she does is bash the Republican party. That's who she is.

She does that while ripping off the people of her district by making them pay for private jets to and from San Francisco. Then rips them off again through the insider trading deals she does.

Of course this was a woman who was one o the people who were leading a charge for a war against Syria based on false information.

I have talked to a friend of mind who lives in her district a couple of times over th epast couple of months. They did not know anything about Pelosi because the media in San Fran does not talk about her. No hard questions regarding insider trading, no questions or discussions about the private jets they have to pay for. Nothing bad. Did not even know of the infamous statement, "We have to pass the bill for you to know what is in the bill."

So Pelosi, I say this to you. Sit down and shut the f*ck unless you actually have something useful to say.

Decent Americans expect Pelosi to spew Hate and Intolerance every time she gets camera or mic time. Americans know Pelosi is ONLY a diabolical Calif version of a democrat out to destroy rather than improve our Country.

They need to explain why increasing the debt ceiling is not going to make passing bills moren and more problematic if not impossible later on.

Nancy Pelosi is an idiot. When the republicans took the house I thought we'd heard the last of her. She is worrthless in any way. That being said, everything she has said about the republicans is true too. They are cutting their own throats with mainstream America by groveling to the tea-party crowd. As bad as the Obama crowd is... The ultra-right is even worse. If moderate republicans would just ignore the freaks in their own party they would control the white house next time around and the senate soon afterward.

Pelosi is always talking to herself::::
"Why is it obamacare..I'm the one that shoved it up America's butt! It should be Pealosicare".
"Why aren't they building statues for me?"
"Why did I get fired in 2010?"
"I want my nice airplane back!"
"Giving up my salary is beneath my dignity!"
What a loon.

Stop interfering with Repub politics. Worry about your own. obviously you look away from your own numerous transgressions. That is why people are buying weapons. they are voting survival. Again.. Mind your own business. Stop interfering with Republican issues. No more RINOS/NEO CONS as Repub standard bearers. That is the mantra. Even if a RINO/NEO CON wins, he is going to be beholden to someone else and hindered to do any good with our problems. Obama proves that. The first totally payoff agenda president. President only to his voters. America needs a tough hombre elected to make tough decisions. To cut fat and waste and corruption that envelops us. It will be painful.

Exactly the type of psychotic rant I was talking about. What type of leadership do you want for YOUR party? Perhaps people like Michele Bachmann, Ron Johnson or Sarah Palin? I would love to be able to vote for a conservative again. One with a vision for America that includes the middle class. It's been a long time since the Reagan-Bush years and the GOP has changed. It went from being the party that believed America could do anything to the being the party of NO.

Now I think I'll grab my Palosi targets and take my PTR to the range to blow off some steam... Guess I'm not right-wing enough to vote for the GOP though, right?

You act like progressive candidates are salt of the earth. Media plays a role in diminishing people when they screw up. And it depends on who is doing the screwing up. Conservatives are needed to counter balance progressives. This way sane but angry discussions can be made in the halls of Congress. Who gives a ph uk if you have weapons? I stated people are purchasing weapons. Perhaps if all of us voters paid more attention to what our politicians have done over the years there would not be this great discourse. What the hell does party of "No" mean? Because the real self serving psychos spread the words. You have a federal government budget at 4.5 trillion dollars. State and local bring the total to over half of Gross National Product. Somebody had to be saying yes. Our real growth is 1 to 2% a year if lucky. Another fifty years of this if we make it, and there will be other powers besides us dictating terms with influence. America as a free nation is not the norm in human history. In fact it is a fluke. Humans love being told what to do. Its security for them.

There is no limit on the damage, as long as they can blame Obama.

No. I do not think nor imply that "progressive" candidates are the salt of the earth. The liberal left usually has it's head up it's ass but so does the conservative right. The left needs to stop trying to enlighten us and the right needs to stop trying to save our virtue. I am a fiscal conservative who happens to be socially liberal. Who should I vote for? The last time we had a genuine progressive conservative in the Whitehouse Teddy Roosevelt was in president. But he too was told to keep his opinions to himself and leave republican politics alone. The party backed Taft, darling of the far right, and the result was Woodrow Wilson's election in 1912 in spite of the fact that most of America voted conservative. Soon afterwards the Roosevelt family "dabbled" in politics again as you may recall but on the other side of the isle. FDR was elected and there began the semi-socialist system we have today. Being pig headed and stubborn has cost the GOP a lot over the years. The republicans need to be open to SOME progressive thinking. The last really progressive idea to come from the republicans was reaganomics. Reaganomics... progressive? Yes I think it was. That's why I use the name Infidel. Extremists on both sides hate what I think. Sooner or later we'll get fiscally responsible democrats or socially conscious republicans. Then I'll have a party worth supporting. In the meantime I'll decide who to vote for one candidate at a time the moment I cast my ballot and feel loyalty for no party at all.

I agree with much of that. We have huge federal, local and state governments now so I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for politicians to become virtuous. I just believe things could be better and cheaper. We are lucky here in America. We have had it better then many others. We just should be aware enough to not lose it. And somehow we have lost our focus as our own government has run amok on both foreign and domestic concerns.
