Don't care what an american congressman wants. It's not his call and I hope Vladimir Putin sticks to his guns and upholds the law.

Enough of the stories of the abuses of Russian children in the USA by small-minded idiots who take out their prejudices on the small helpless children from Russia.

It is time that the US stops pushing for what it wants. It doesnot and hopefully never will control what laws the Russians pass in their democracy. Back off Stevie boy.

American parents are more willing than any other nation to adopt disabled children. Meanwhile, the number of Russian parents wishing to adopt Russian children is only one-tenth the demand. Seen in this context, US adoptions are a charitable service. Taking charity from the mighty United States may be painful to the Russian ego, but is it better for the 1.5 million unadopted Russian children to grow-up in an abysmal and abusive conditions? Are these the children that you will, after they emerge unable to fit into society, place into a Siberian work camp?
